Health Net Blue & Gold

As an HMO, Health Net Blue & Gold asks its members to choose one primary care physician to direct and manage their care. Members are asked to select a physician at the time of enrollment, but can change physicians during the year if needed.

There are two UC Irvine Health medical groups available to employees under Health Net Blue & Gold:

UC Irvine Health Medical Group• Locations in Orange, Tustin and Yorba Linda.• Same-day appointments available.• Urgent care center in Tustin open on evenings,

weekends and holidays — no appointment necessary.

UC Irvine Health Physicians & Surgeons• Locations in Orange, Irvine, Brea, Santa Ana and Anaheim.• Same-day appointments available.• Walk-in care clinics in Orange and Irvine provide

immediate care — no appointment necessary.

PPO Plans

UC Care, University of California Health Savings Plan and University of California CORE Plan are PPO plans. You are not required to select a primary care physician under these plans. Both UC Irvine Health medical groups accept these plans.
