Operational definition

• An outdoor experience

1st level of engagement was the school environment - a simple simulated ecosystem was used for students to acquire the process skills.

2nd level of engagement was the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve - an authentic, complex ecosystem for students to replicate and apply the skills they have learnt.
