The Life of Tea 1

Tea was firstly found in China about 4000 years ago when an emperor named Shen Nung was drinking water below a tree, a dry leaf fell into his cup and made the water brown color. That was how tea was found.

Since then, tea has become very popular in China and Chinese people thought it would be great to have tea for improving health!

Tea Processing 1 The FactsThere are lots of diffrent types of tea in the world. The most common types are black tea, green tea and oolong tea. The leaves that make tea is called Camellia genus. The fancy name for this plant is Camellia Sinensis. I think only scientists use that word because it's so hard to say.   To plant these trees for tea leaves needs to be on the land 600m to 1200m above the sea. The tempratures needs to be 10 degres celsius the minimum and 30 degres max. they need water about 2000mm each year!!
