When?

All Year 2 full-time students in 2012-13 Reasonable Year 1 CGPA.

An add-on – on top of the usual exchange opportunity
Students to take 3 courses in a 6-week module, i.e. 6 courses (36 credits) for a 2-module semester and all courses are taught in English
3 year-II Economics courses will be offered
Opportunity to take 3 electives on China economics and business
Students can earn HKU credits upon completion of the CBE Program, which can be counted towards graduation requirements
Earn a certificate on “China Business and Economics”

ECON0701 Introductory Econometrics (Prerequisite: ECON1001 and ECON1003/STAT0301/STAT0302/STAT1301/STAT1306; Mutually exclusive courses: STAT2314/STAT2804)
ECON2101 Microeconomic Theory(Prerequisite: ECON1001; Mutually exclusive course: ECON2113)
ECON2102 Macroeconomic Theory(Prerequisite: ECON1001 and ECON1002; Mutually exclusive course: ECON2114)
