• Hypospadias

• Gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) that has failed treatment with drugs or biologicals and requires surgery

• Flat Feet (Complicated)

• Musculoskeletal injury >3 months

CRS Rule - Additions• Atypical cystic fibrosis

• Exstrophy of the bladder

• Dysplastic kidney disease

• Aortic aneurysm

• Lymphangioma

• Upper/lower limb malformations

CRS Rule - Changes• Leg length discrepancy –

from 5cm to 2cm

• Craniosynostosis – age and sutures deleted

• Hemangioma – requires laser or surgery

CRS Rule - Changes• If a member was considered to be in a

“Vegetative state” then they were not eligible for CRS we have not found any provider willing to say a child is in a vegetative state so we removed this from rule

Newborn Changes• If a CRS Application is received on a

newborn (28 days old or less) and the case is approved, the effective date will be retroactive to the date of birth
