We might find ourselves thinking that it is really just at 9:45 church where children are welcome and cared for, but let me encourage us to remember that children can be dropped off by parents or grandparents directly into the children’s program prior to the 10:00am gathering. We are also planning to reintroduce children’s ministry at the 5:30pm congregation. This will require some fresh thinking, and also some fresh leaders, but we believe the benefits to all are worth it. There are so many ways to be involved in this work, even if you may feel helping to lead a small group of 7 year old boys is not your thing! Do remember to pray for the spiritual growth of the children of our church and community, and for those many who lead and teach them so faithfully.
