DAVID’S DYNASTYOn the hills outside of Bethlehem, a family of inquisitive, energetic shepherds discovers the meaning of being part of the royal dynasty that will one day produce a new king for their people. As they explore what the prophets said would happen in boring Bethlehem, they become part of the story unfolding on the night Jesus was born. They learn that even though you may have to wait to see it happen, God always keeps His promises. And in the end, they realize that every one of us is invited to be part of a dynasty – God’s great family, which we join when we believe in His Son. Dear Creek Family,It’s an exciting time for The Church at Quail Creek. Christmas is

in the air, and a New Year is just around the corner. It’s personally my favorite time of year. I love the cold weather. Something else I love... NEW, COOL, STUFF!

We are in the process of updating the church’s membership software. The staff relies on software to track everything that happens in the church. Frankly, the software we currently use is old and outdated. It won’t even run on the brand new, fancy Windows 10 or on the Mac that I’m currently typing this article on. That’s all about to change. Tomorrow, we will begin the transition to a new, web-based software that will allow us to do so much more.

Why do you need to know this? Well, some things are about to change for you as well. The first major change you will see is the ways you can give to The Church at Quail Creek. If any of you have ever used our online e-giving, you probably found the process very difficult and frustrating. NO LONGER! We have already transitioned to our new online giving portal. If you have ever given online, we ask that you go to our website and click on the giving tab. Once you get to our giving portal, click on the “First Time? New User Registration” link to set up your new account. I promise you will find the process to be very easy. For those who had recurring gifts set up online, you will have to set that up again.

The next thing I am excited to tell you about is that you can

The first time you do it, you will receive a link to setup your texting account. Once again, I promise it’s simple and easy. After that, you simply text a dollar amount to the above number and it will be deducted from your credit or debit card account.

There are other major changes coming with this software update, including a better way to check-in your kiddos and ways Life Groups can communicate with each other. Two major things coming in early 2016 are A NEW TCQC.ORG & TCQC MOBILE APP

2015 CHARITABLE DEDUCTIONS INFORMATIONTo claim a deduction for contributions to the Church at Quail Creek in 2015, the following must be observed.1. MAIL: If you mail your contribution to the church, your envelope must be postmarked no later than Dec. 31, 2015, for your contribution to be included on your 2015 record.

2. CHURCH OFFICE: If you choose to bring your contribution to the church office, you must do so by NOON on Monday, DEC. 28, 2015.

3. NOTE: The date on your check has no bearing on how your contribution is applied. Only the above criteria determines if the contribution will apply in the year 2015.
