The Albany County Sheriffs Office reports the arrest of a Cohoes man on child pornography charges.

Sheriff Investigators arrested Robert V. DuBuc, age 26 of 19 Church St. in the City of Cohoes.

DuBuc was charged with 4 counts of Possessing a Sexual Performance of a Child an E Felony

(Possessing sexually explicit pictures of a female under the age of 16) and Endangering the welfare of

a child an A misdemeanor. He was released on appearance tickets and will be arraigned in Cohoes

City Court on October 3rd

2013 at 12:00PM.

The complaint alleges that during the month of September 2013 DuBuc befriended a 15 year

old girl from the State of Ohio on Facebook. After flirting with her he started soliciting sexual explicit

photos. DuBuc forwarded nude pictures of himself in exchange for nude pictures of her. The 15 year

old female did send DuBuc 4 sexually explicit photos during this time period. The mother of the 15

Year old found the pictures on the computer and alerted the Antwerp Police Department. The

Antwerp Police Department then contacted the Sheriffs Office since the suspect resided in the City of

Cohoes. The investigation is continuing as to see if there may be any other victims. Anyone with any
