Child Labour
Online Group
Twitter• We set up twitter accounts to promote
our blog.• We found this very useful as it allowed
us to reach a broader audience. • We used Twitpic to upload pictures of
our progress as well as the progress of the other groups.
Our twitter accounts
Facebook• We linked our twitter accounts to our
facebooks.• This allowed us to update both social
networking sites at the same time.• It also meant that we could get more
people to hear about what we were doing with regards to our child labour project.
Our blog• To get our message across we set up a
blog where we each wrote our own articles about present child labour.
• This included articles about, what is child labour?, some facts, effects of child labour, child labour and exploitation in the UK and child labour with regards to the 2010 World Cup.
• We also included some pictures of child labour and a video of vox pops showing young people’s views on child labour.
Child labour
AimThrough our online project we want to
target young people to create
awareness of child labour and hopefully
to break the cycle.
This was a lot of hard work but we feel
that it was an important issue that
hopefully we have addressed.
