What is the social injustice?

In this article Radya is being adopted into this new family but having to work as a maid in the house. This article affects Radya and her “sister” Zainab, because Radya is the one having to work and Zainab feels bad for her.

The Incident

The incident in this article is that Radya is put under child labor and has to clean the house during the day and go to night school, while Zainab went to school during the day. Zainab begins to notice the difference between her and Radya because they would eat at different tables and when Zainab got a lot of gifts from her dad Radya would only get one.

Cause of Incident

I think that Zainab realized what Radya went through was child labor and wanted to do something about it for others in the future.

How was the incident handled?

The incident was handled by Zainab Starting a organization called “A Women for Women International” this ask for women to sponsor a survivor of, and they exchange letters and pictures.

Why was the topic interesting?

I found this topic interesting because I think child labor is a wrong thing to do and should be spoken more about.
