Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service Child and Youth Community Health Service Parenting support and early feeding drop-in clinics Child Health Service To support parents of newborns during the first 12 weeks aſter discharge from hospital. The Child and Youth Community Health Service offers a free service providing advice on feeding, parenting concerns and support for parents. No appointment is necessary. A child health nurse will talk with you about any issues or concerns you are having. For example, you may wish to talk to the nurse about: • feeding your baby and how they are sleeping • getting some support and advice about breastfeeding. The nurse can also arrange for you to attend regular appointments with the child health service. Clinic days and hours Parenting support and early feeding drop-in clinics are located across the Greater Brisbane area. The tables below list clinic days. Overleaf you will find a list of addresses for these clinics. All clinics are open between 9am and 12pm (midday) on the days specified in the tables below (closed on public holidays). As this is a drop-in clinic you may experience a wait during busy times.
