Cheyenne Heritage Quilters Patchwork Update April 2020 Dedicated to encouraging and broadening quilter’s creativity, sharing quilting knowledge, exhibiting quilting accomplishments and contributing to the community. Note from the President What a crazy time it is right now. Coronavirus has everyone on edge and mainly because of the uncertainty. I am leaving it up to your discretion about attending our meetings. I will keep you posted on our meeting place. Please make sure to wash your hands, cough or sneeze into your elbow, don't touch your face, and stay home if feeling bad. We have some great programs coming up this month. On April 6, a trunk show/lecture by Mary who makes patterns, and April 20, mini classes/demos. Thank you so much to Cynthia Helmer for heading up the Quilt Show and Jeannie Smith for helping her. They are making some headway on this monumental task. We still need a Quilt mom and an Advertising Chairman. Please consider taking on one of these. Deb O'Grady President

Patchwork Update April 2020

Dedicated to encouraging and broadening quilter’s creativity, sharing quilting

knowledge, exhibiting quilting accomplishments and contributing to the community.

Note from the President

What a crazy time it is right now.

Community Quilts In February & March we completed: 4 receiving blankets, 3 lap quilts,7 twin quilts. We donated 11 twin quilts to Unaccompanied youth, 2 baby quilts to BLCK. We have in stock: 2 double bed, 5 twin, 7 lap, 6 baby, & 3 donation opportunity quilts. ALZHEIMERS has asked for one quilt. Our own quilt show has one ready. Debbie Pryzmus has one other ready. There are more than 12 in progress. Many thanks to the loyal workers who come on 1st Wednesdays or who offer to work at home making tops & receiving blankets or machine quilting or binding! THANK YOU!! Rose needs to stay at home with her family for a while, so she has given the quilts to Donna Dolan to disperse with help. Donna Dolan PS: There was also a large lap quilt given to Magic City for their auction on the first of March.

Be sure to check your email account. The Roster for 2020 was sent out. Please check your information and let Donna Dolan know if there are any changes or corrections.
