Chester & North Wales CTC Caer a Gogledd Cymru Treasure Hunt Sunday May 28 th 2017 After some very warm days it was a relief to have much cooler weather on the day of the Treasure Hunt. The Competitiion start and finish were at Lady Heyes Craft Centre near Frodsham. Seven riders arrived and set off at various times, most having a welcome coffee before tackling the questions and route directions. I was sure they’d get lost in the forest as I always do but all returned in good time and no-one had a problem finding their way back. There was some discussion over one of the answers, but the question setters held their ground. Sue Booth gained the highest score and was the individual winner, but close behind was the More family, Sylvia and Robin. They were joined for this year's competition by their son Nick. Paul Mills and Terry Davies also arrived for the rides. There were only four points between the 1 st 2 nd and 3 rd prize winners. It was good to see some healthy rivalry between Paul and Terry. Brian Walsh came a respectable fourth overall. Results: Individuals 1. Sue Booth Chester & N Wales CTC 33 points 2. Paul Mills Chester & N Wales CTC 31 points 3. Terry Davies Chester & N Wales CTC 30 points 4. Brian Walsh Chester & N Wales CTC 21 points Team 1. Team More 32 points (You had to be in it to win it)
