Testimonials Glenn Bady
What do parents think about Glenn?
I met Glenn about 4-5 years ago when he was running an after school program at Penllyn Woods Community Center. Since meeting Glenn, he has guided the children in his club, many of whom have been Upper Dublin kids, to 4 straight Pa. State Scholastic Chess Club Championships and produced numerous individual state champions, including my
on, Charlie, this year. He also took the club to compete in 2 National championships in Orlando & Pittsburgh. All the tournaments they've competed in have included separate sections for school championships. The positive link between chess and improved academics, especially mathematics, is well documented. Many charter & private schools even have have chess as a part of their curriculum. Many college chess scholarships are

are awarded every year. I could go on & on. I, like you, grew up in Upper Dublin, and I've always taken pride in our school district. I believe that if we could somehow bring Glenn & his gifted instructors into our schools it would make a great school district even greater. I don't know who to contact in the district on this matter, but I'm sure you might. I think, at the very least, the possibility of such a venture should be explored. I've discussed it with Glenn, and he would be willing
to meet with you & whoever you would deem appropriate to discuss creating some kind of chess program in our schools. As a believer in Glenn & what he's doing, I would be willing to volunteer my time & effort, as well. It's been a very positive, rewarding experience for us & I'd like other kids in our township to get this opportunity Ive included today's club update e-mail below & you might consider checking out his website www.cheadschess.com

Tabb Champlin Mother of Wes Champlin, wrote: Great job with Wes. He can usually be a handful. Most of his teachers complain about him being such a busy body. Winning the Kindergarten State Championship was an exciting experience. He can't stop talking about it. We'll see you this summer.
Mark Opalisky-Vice President Horsham School Board wrote:
Thanks for your efforts this year. Connor loves chess.
Joan Lea, wrote: Thanks Glenn for a great year. Calvin enjoyed himself and for the first time he has felt like he apart of a team. Chess has helped Calvin opened up to other kids his age.
The Borough of Conshohocken & The Conshohocken Free Library: Thanks USCF Master Glenn Bady for his time in introducing our children & citizens to the Game of Chess.

Second, I am an authority in my field. I've started (along with Dr. Floyd and the Princeton Public Library) and participated in several chess days.
Third, I have over thirty years of experience. I've been fortunate enough to travel and play chess in Europe and all over the U.S.
