River Transport
More than 1 million tonnes of petroleum and chemical
products in liquid bulk transit on the Seine. All of the
stockists have river access.
1 in every 5 containers destined for the Parisian consumer
market is carried via the river Seine.
Inland water transport carriers meet safety criteria and
adapt to the diversity of products in transit on the Seine
(double hull, stainless steel materials, tank heating, etc.).
Pipeline
Multiple connections by pipeline between the sites, all
along the Seine corridor.
Multimodal connections (sea, road, rail, river, pipe)
are used to serve the hinterland, to import and export
products.
multimodal offer tailored for the chemicals sector
A
Road
Fast, direct access to the hinterland, by an uncongested motorway network.
Shipping throughout France and Europe on D+1 / D+2.
Rail
 Service by wagonload or trainload.
Connections and regular services in France and in Europe, particularly to
Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.
Short-line railway operators in HAROPA for chemicals.
 Connected storage and industrial sites.

Lionel Jauseau - European Supply Chain Managing Director - Lubrizol Corporation "Lubrizol, a global player in specialty chemicals, is particularly attentive to finding transport and storage facilities suited to its products and the level of quality of its Customer Service. To meet the demands of operational and logistical excellence expected by its customers, given its industrial sites in Normandy, for Lubrizol the HAROPA offer represents a major asset. Lubrizol today enjoys excellent infrastructures (access for shipping to a deepwater port), large-scale storage capacities for liquid bulk and containers, and experienced cargo handling for hazardous materials. The variety of the HAROPA offer is interesting since it allows us to develop a service in line with the level of requirements of our clients.".
Bruno Vitali – Managing Director - Challenge Group
"HAROPA has a full range of logistics solutions for the sensitive sector of hazardous materials: an exceptional shipping service in particular on the Asian and USA trades, professionals in the storage, handling, distribution and transport of hazardous materials both in bulk and packaged format, traceability tools (TIMAD) and ISO 28000 certified facilities for the safety and security of their sites. These assets represent significant advantages in the context of international competitiveness: they favour the promotion of the port communities on the Seine corridor and above all the increase in volumes of goods transiting via HAROPA.
