Abso’Net Protection´s range includes fluid absorbents and spill kits in three types Universal, Chemical and Oil-only:

PROteCtIOn

Used to absorb a variety of liquids including non aggressive oil and water based fluids. Universal absorbents are now extensively used in a wide spectrum of industry sectors (grey and black).

Universal

Can be used to absorb any fluid including aggressive chemicals. They are yellow in colour to pro-vide a distinct differential from other absorbents and wipes. This distinction reflects a warning that once the product has been used may contain harmful liquids and should only be handled by someone wearing adequate personal protection (yellow).

Chemical

These are hydrophobic (will not absorb water) designed for absorbing hydrocarbon based fuels and oils. They will float on water enabling them to effectively deal with oil spill in marine environ-ments, leaving the water oil free (white).

Oil - Only

spill Containment products are manufactured using industrial grade polyethylene, providing the

professional answer to drum storage requirements.

UK Drum storage Regulations The bund must have sufficient capacity to:

-Contain 110% of the contents of the largest container; or

-25% of the total capacity stored, whichever is the greatest.

In the case of single drums, a drip tray with a capacity of 25% of the contents is normally acceptable,

apart from drums sited in high-risk areas.
