After several years in research and teaching he joined knoell in 2004 working on environmental risk assessments for agrochemicals, biocides and chemicals. In 2006 he build up the working group for the REACH business and in 2010 he became the leader of the business unit REACH & global regulatory affairs. Since 2013 Dr. Cleuvers is Managing Director for Industrial Chemicals & Biocides. Dr. Elizabeth Dederick Business Manager, Regulatory Critical Path Services - a knoell company Dr. Elizabeth Dederick has more than 10 years of experience working in chemical risk assessment and regulatory affairs. She is a subject matter expert in US and international regulatory affairs, specifically TSCA, REACH, and GHS. Dr. Dederick holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Health Policy and Management and a Master’s degree in Environmental Health Science from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dan Bastien Head of the Client Services Unit Environment Canada Dan Bastien is the Head of the Client Services Unit of the Program Development and Engagement Division. He joined Environment Canada in February of 1995. Dan is responsible for a national enquiry line to answer questions by industry stakeholders related on the Chemical Management Plan, on the Canadian New Substances Notification Regulations and on compliance related issues of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999.

She has a BSc. in Agricultural andEnvironmental Science from University College Dublin and a MSc. inEnvironmental Science from the University of Cologne.
