OverviewOverview

Emphasis will be on the structural motifs of metalloprotein centers and their associated reactivities. Course material will offer broad exposure to multidisciplinary topics and methodologies. Prerequisites include undergraduate inorganic chemistry, physical or analytical chemistry, some knowledge of biochemistry. The major goal of this course is to provide you with the background and tools necessary for a critical appraisal of current bioinorganic topics in the literature. One research project will be required, given as a 3-5 page

report at the end of the term.
