The camera’s interline CCD architecture processes bright pixels through a normal low noise CCD output and processes dark pixels through an EMCCD output. Software then melds the pixel data into a real-time image output with extremely wide dynamic range.

Time-delayed integration (TDI) refers to an imaging technology used for observing high-speed moving object under low light conditions normally undetectable by classic CCD imaging. TDI mode preserves image quality and sensitivity in fast-moving objects.
