How much does it cost?
The course fee will be determined when funding from the Commonwealth and Northern Territory Governments has been negotiated. It will include a $220 admin fee which must be received before course commencement and is non refundable.
This fee includes:
- Learner Guides and Assessment Books
- 17 Face to Face delivery sessions
- Nationally recognised and accredited certificate or Statement of Attainment

The delivery of the units will be off-the-job, with
the training sessions held at Transforming
Training’s training room at Marrara.
Delivery methods include: lectures discussion brainstorming individual research presentations

submitted before the commencement of the course.
AIM: Certificate IV is an excellent qualification for those who are employed as a teacher aide, tutor or support worker in an education setting. On completion you will have a greater understanding of:
Working with diverse cultures Supporting behaviour of students Using high level communication skills in the
workplace Identifying and responding to people at risk Having the competence to perform job roles
that may require a moderate level of autonomy and/or the provision of supervision/leadership to other staff.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: To gain entry into CHC40213 Certificate IV in Education Support the learners are required to be employed at least 2 days per week as an education worker, home/volunteer tutor or similar role, to indicate likely success at this level of qualification or successful completion of a qualification at Certificate IV level in educational support or a related area. A current ochre card is a requirement.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS: To gain competency, all 12 Core units and a minimum of 5 elective units must be completed.
