Course OutlineSuccessful completion of this course requires students to complete 19 units of competency in total (15 core units plus 4elective units). The course is delivered over 36 weeks, including six hours per week face-to-face and, during work placement, an additional two days per week (120 hours).

Entry RequirementsStudents must meet the Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills standards for Certificate IV level study. Students will need to obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Check (at their own expense), be at least 18 years of age and be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply subject to the person being able to undertake all tasks and requirements of the course.
