Event Manager Duties

Your special day at The Chateaux comes with the use of our on-site Event Manger. Our event managers are very friendly and extremely experienced! Their primary responsibility is to help ensure that your event goes as smoothly as possible and that any items ordered through The Chateaux are at your disposal and the building is in good condition. Your event manager(s) will be on site during your entire event time.

Their responsibilities include: • Coordinating your rehearsal and ceremony • Coordinating with vendors throughout your event • Monitoring weather conditions for outside ceremonies • Adjusting lighting for best ambiance • Maintaining appropriate temperature in the building • Correcting any blown electrical circuits • Answering any questions from vendors or guests • Checking the telephone to give directions to arriving guests or vendors • Ensuring our rules/guidelines are being followed

If you feel that you require a personal assistant or more specific help during your setup and/or event for personal errands etc. you may hire an additional event manager at a rate of $50 per hour.

Gratuities for our staff are never required. If you feel that your event manager has done a superior job, gratuities are always appreciated.

Important Information

• The Chateaux Grand Hall/Mezzanine has 6,500 sq. feet of event space capable of comfortably hosting groups of 50 to 300 seated guests.• A $750 ($1500 all-day events and deluxe inclusive packages) booking fee/security deposit and a signed contract are required to firmly secure your date. This deposit is cashed, and held in addition to other fees, and refunded, less damages, approximately two weeks following the event.• The full facility fee is due 6 months prior to your event date.• Gratuities for our staff are never required, but if you feel that your event manager has done a superior job, gratuities are appreciated.• Homecomings and Quincenieras are limited to 200 guests.• Chateaux-provided Security is always required for groups over 200 guests at a cost of $25 per hour/per officer.• New Years Eve is priced at the Saturday rate.
