Love one another. Love is not the warm fuzzy feeling but the gift of self to others. As Jesus has loved us, by his total self-gift, so we are to love others. This is our mission, this is what our Lord com-mands. Love one another. It is through this love that we will bear fruit and others will come to follow, for love knows no bounds. Everyone is welcome.

First Holy Communion for St. Patrick’s Church

Please join families in celebrating this special day for our communicants.
During the month of May and October, we will pray the rosary before Mass. We
would ask the rosary be wrapped up at least five minutes before Mass begins. We need to be mindful of those who come to mass early and enjoy silence in their preparation for Eucharist both inside and outside the worship space.

From Fr. Tom & Deacon Brian
After unanimous support from the building & maintenance commit-tee as well as the consultation with parish & financial councils. St. Patrick’s Church will soon begin a project to upgrade our heating & electrical systems. The conditions of the current heating system is not efficient and has many components which are no longer func-tioning. The main parts of the projects are listed below.
• Replacement of the main boiler of the boiler of the church with
a new more efficient hot water boiler.
• Replace all steam registers in the main church with new effi-
cient hot water baseboards.
• Replacement of current radiant heating system in the base-
ment while also utilizing some old equipment which is compati-ble.
• Adding a new power distribution system to the church to re-
place the old failing system,
• Adding a new NG powered generator to allow for the church to
be heated during a power outage Due to the way the old system was operating the church should see significant savings in fuel when this project is complete. The Diocese has approved our capital project which will cost roughly $93,000. We will not need to borrow any money for the project thanks to the generous bequest of the Betty Lyons estate which indicated money should be used for upkeep of St. Patrick's Church, rectory and cemetery. As your aware some restoration work needs to begin in the near future. Your continued financial support of the parish is critical to help meet the day to day operations of our parish. To continue to keep our churches beautiful and in good condition.
