THIS IS YOUR LIFE, PASTOR STEVE!

Clarkston, GANovember 21-22, a small team of students and adults from First Baptist traveled to Clarkston, GA for a mission trip. While there, the team made door to door visits to the homes of people from all over the world-Sudan, Nepal, Burma, and India to name a few. We handed out bags of candy as a way to show kindness and have the opportunity for conversation. We met two men who had just arrived in the U.S. from Iran and Turkey. During our conversation, we invited them to the international worship service at the church and prayed with them. To our delight, they both attended the service and heard a very clear gospel message! This may have been the first opportunity they have ever had to hear of God’s love for them and it all started with a Reese’s Cup!
Mother’s Morning Out will be on break December 22-31. We will resume our regular schedule on January 5, 2016.
We would like to wish all our families a Merry Christmas! We look forward to seeing you next year.
