Lee (the vendor) had left school in the summer of this year and through a friends

father was given the opportunity to be a sidekick and assistant to Major Jack, who

was an official for the equestrian events. Mr Lee was chosen for this job because he

had a motorcycle and in the event of emergency it was thought he could be

despatched quickly to the scene. This happened during the cross country event

which took place at Sandhurst and Camberley Heath when the horse of the Finnish

participant returned without it's rider. Mr Lee was then sent to find the rider. He spent

several hours looking for the rider before unsuccessfully reporting back to Major Jack

who informed him the rider had been found within an hour of Mr Lee's departure but

unfortunately for Mr Lee, Major Jack had no way of contacting him. Sold for £220.00
