SECTION 10.02 CITY STATUSThe term Municipality as used In this Charter shall, upon achievement of City status, beconstrued as Cily, and editorially altered In all new copies after this achievement. CE RTI F I CATESECTION 10.03 TRANSITIONAL PROCEDUREThis Charter shall be submitted to the electors at the special election of October 2 5, 1 98 8. IIapproved, It shall become effective on January 1 1989. All elected officials shall hold officeuntil the expiration of their terms, when the next elected officials shall serve as Indicated In the Ne, the dulyelected and qualified membersseparate sections of this Charter. All other employees of the Murncipality as of the effective dateof this Charter shall continue In such employment; and thereafter, shall be subject in all of the Charter Commission of the Village ofrespects to the provisions of this Charter, and ordinances, resolutions, rules, or regulationsenacted or promulgated thereunder.
