Throughout December Saul Alexander Gallery Exhibit As I Pass This Way by Lori Starnes Main Library Lori Starnes’ exhibit features portraits and figurative pieces contemplating the human condition. “Capturing human emotion is what excites me most as an artist,” Starnes explains. “Joy, confusion, peace and melancholy are recognizable to us all, and I use color and composition to help convey these feelings.” Art Exhibit by The Kiawah Island Art Guild John’s Island Regional Library This exhibit features pieces of art created with oil, watercolors, pastels, mixed media and woven material. The Kiawah Island Art Guild consists of 36 members who meet once a month from September through May.
