Charitable Endeavors Of David DeMulle' David DeMulle' is the executive editor of “The Foothills Paper”, a newspaper that is read by a wide segment of people in the North East Valley. Currently, it has an average of 5,000 readers every other week for the hard-copy edition and 4-5,000 readers a day on its Facebook site. To retain the reputation and popularity that his newspaper has achieved over the years, David works with utmost sincerity. Being highly dedicated towards his job, he considers it his top priority to provide real, unbiased information to the readers about local affairs. Other than his work as a newspaper editor, it is his charitable endeavors that keep him busy. So far, David DeMulle' has received many awards for his philanthropic work. He was awarded the “Order of St. Stanislaus” by the Polish government for providing medical appliances and materials to the disabled veterans of Poland. He has also received an award from the California EDD for his efforts in working with and providing jobs for disabled American veterans. Working with the County of Los Angeles School District Principal Authority Unit, David who has a PhD in Education, taught children diagnosed as being “Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (SED)” Besides teaching in his own classroom, he was also sent out to operate classrooms where the teacher had been incapacitated. Although he did not receive any award for teaching these children, his efforts were highly appreciated. The list of humanitarian work performed by D avid DeMulle' does not end here. Some of his main charitable endeavors include – donating medical supplies: $50,000 to the Haiti Medical Relief Organization, paying for one year free cable for the Senior Center, reducing violence against the homeless community by creating 3 “Safe Haven” homeless camps, creating a portable shower system for the homeless, providing transportation for the “Homeless Helping the Homeless” agency, etc. Also, he was once the largest employer of homeless in the foothills region of Los Angeles.
