Project Summary

The client Carmen Johnson Bell is a director of the Miss Illinois Plus America Pageant and Charisma is the company that produces the pageant. Bell has requested the colors, turquoise, silver, white, and gold to be incorporated in the logo. She wants sparkles, pageantry, pretty, glitz and glam, royalty, and filigree. She is open for

crowns and anything that would make someone feel good about themselves. Understandably, she does not want anything negative or dark colors to bring down the atmosphere. She is also open for a tag line to go with the logo. There are three different concept of logos and collateral to go along with it, including business cards and letterheads.

For the first concept, we have gold stars in a circle with a turquoise Charisma and a sparkling diamond in the middle. There is a color and black and white version as well as a tagline version of the logo. The tagline says, “Embrace your Royalty”. I picked the tagline because everyone is royalty and deserves a crown. Everyone deserves to feel pretty and be able to show their confidence. I kept with the colors that the client wanted, and kept in mind the royalty and shiny beauty look as well. There is a mock up of a letterhead, business card and a mug with the logo on it.

For the second logo, there is a silver intricate crown, cursive turquoise lettering, and gold filigree. There is a black and white version as well. The client asked for filigree so there is a version of filigree adding to the name. The crown is very pageantry with all the various designs and shapes. The font is very feminine with the curls and swirls. There are also mock ups of a letterhead, business card, and a bottle to see how the logo would look like on some products as well as some of your information that was given.

The third and final concept is silver with turquoise accents on a crown, gold and silver filigree, and a gold cursive font for the company name Charisma. It was a nice change to see how the gold would look like as the name instead of turquoise this time. It is another cursive font but with different curls and edges. The crown adds a nice touch of the turquoise color making the accents pop. This time we only have one side of the filigree of gold and silver so the font can curve around the crown and filigree nicely and look cohesive. There is a black and white version as well. Also, there are some mockups for the logo with the letterhead, business card, and a cd.
