In accordance with current legislation it is the policy of the Governing Body: to levy the appropriate charge to parents/carers for all board and lodging requirements on residential visits, but to remit the board and lodging costs for students whose parents/carers are in receipt of relevant benefits. to levy charges for activities wholly or mainly outside school hours, where appropriate, and to request voluntary contributions from parents/carers for school activities in school time which can only take place if there is sufficient voluntary funding. to levy a proportion of the cost of peripatetic music tuition. to require parents/carers to pay the examination fees of a student who fails to complete coursework or attend examinations for which they have been entered.
