2nd April Charcoal Making at Pishwanton Wood with Malcolm Lemmon Charcoal Making: Charcoal has been made by various methods. The traditional method in Britain used a clamp. Spend a day in stunning Pishwanton Wood. A relict forest land that has been carefully studied and looked after for over 20 years following Goethean scientific and biodynamic/organic principles. We will burning this wood following different processes. By the end of the course you will have learned how to make charcoal in a metal drum, have a good grasp of charcoal and have your own bag of charcoal for your barbecue.
Costs : £60 (includes tuition, all materials and refreshments)
