FlaskAs the survivor is completely dependant on the wild a flask is vital for him to keep liquids hot.

Source: Already owned

How is it featured in my product?: The survivor will not overtly interact with the prop however it will be laying close to the character if not on their person.

Examples within film: Within The Walking Dead, the character of Morgan carries around a pack which seems to contain a flask. (Featured Below)

HandgunActs as the only real defence of the survivor.

Source: Can be acquired through Media teacher’s collection of props. The top image is a metal based prop which adds to the realism however, as it is smaller than a conventional firearm, it may be unsuitable. The two photo’s of my other option feature a suitable sized prop however the blue paint is a problem. This can be addressed by giving the prop a coat of colour to cover the blue.

How it is featured in my product?: Briefly held my the protagonist and acts as a visual trigger for a flashback scene.

Examples within film:The Die Hard film’s, action films, heavily rely on this particular type of firearm. Unlike Bruce Willis’ character my protagonist is inexperienced with guns and therefore his stance would be different than that highlighted within the picture.

How it is featured in my product?: Used throughout by the survivor to bring out key props which progress the narrative such as the photo keying.

Examples within film:As my product shares many traits of ,The Walking Dead, the rucksack or backpack prop is used very frequently within it. Below is a character wearing such. Despite the similarity of my concept and the show I feel that my protagonist will wear the prop differently as he has gone through so much emotional turmoil he doesn't care for neatness or good health and therefore would sling the prop over one shoulder.

How it is featured in my product?: Interacted with once by the survivor which allows the audience to see his family clearly.

Examples within film:Despite this format not being used in film commonly, the way a character looks upon a photo in nostalgia is embedded within much of film. Like many character reactions my protagonist will become emotional

Small SeatAllows the survivor to rest while making camp.

How it is featured in my product?: Used heavily throughout to support the survivor and acts as an obstacle at one point and trips the protagonist over.

Examples within film:Season One of The Walking Dead the characters create a base camp out of modern tents and stools. Below is a photo of the set which includes such stools. At this point in the narrative the zombie apocalypse has only began and therefore the condition of the furniture is very good. As my protagonist has been on the run and the invasion happened a considerable time ago I may need to wear the object.
