Comment:Bought as a replacement for a 12 y/o Char-Broil that I didn't feel like rebuilding again. Assembly wasfairly easy; an hour or so without help. Might be quicker with another set of hands to assist.

Heating is fairly even and the 4 individual burners make it easy to cook a small amount of food (like acouple of burgers) without using a ton of propane. I maxed it out cooking 16 chicken breasts at onceand they all turned out great.

Although the temperature gauge goes up to 700, I've nevergotten it much past 400 on a full preheat. Everything comes apart easily for cleaning, but the includeddrip cup is pretty small so I'd suggest checking it each time before firing up the grill.

I wouldrecommend this model as a solid and versatile medium-sized grill at a good price.
How long have you owned it:More than six months
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend.
Low temp performance:Combines the evenness of heating over the grill's surface at the low setting (using thermocouples) and the models abilityto cook chicken and fish on the gril at that setting without burning the food.
High temp evenness:Evenness of heating over the grill's surface at the high setting, using thermocouples.
Indirect cooking:This indicates how well the grill will slow cook foods when only some of the burners are on and the food isn't placeddirectly over the flame.

Comment:Assembly
Easy to assemble, took about an hour following all directions carefully. Did it myself nohelp.
Use
Worked great right from the start! The burners each lit on first push of the igniter.Within 10 or 15 minutes the grill registered 625 degrees on the built in temperature gauge. This right inthe middle of the Preheat zone on the gauge. The grill produced nice sear marks on burgers, steak, chicken breasts and a pork roast. Found I had to turn it down to, like medium high to cook most thingslike steak and burgers. Because it has 4 main burners(also has a side burner in addition to the 4 mainburners), you can easily heat just the middle or one side of the grill. This works great for smallmeals(saves propane) or indirect grilling. Seems to heat evenly.
How long have you owned it:A month or less
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Comment:Really worked well with indirect cooking. I was able to control the temp easily. The ignitor worksperfectly so far. But the left habd burners are slightly slow to ignite and that made me anxious at first.
How long have you owned it:One-to-three months
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend.
