Awake: this is the new feature on Chaos rings 2. It’s special attack that can be used after your chain gauge reach certain level.

Use Tri fang and the enemy should die now. Continue west and event.

Start by talking to Marie and then talk to Lessica to know more about what has happened. She’ll create a portal that leads you to your first real dungeon on this game.

The Falls of Acheron

Go south from starting position to point (1). Tap the platform so you can jump through it. Go west first to obtain the item. Continue south to the next area. You can jump down quickly through the cliff but you may want go east to obtain the item.

Continue to point (2) to learn about ‘Mystic’ tutorial. Switch your characters into Marie (tap arrow icon on the upper left part of your screen) and then use ‘Mystic’ to obtain 2 items on this area. Go south and prepare to fight

Boss Qitian Dasheng (Lvl 3; 50 EXP; 10 SP; 330 OZ)

Even it’s a boss battle; this is only a tutorial battle about break gauge. Darwin has a gale element (because of Orlando’s Sopia), and the boss has water element which cause an advantage against him. Wait until your break gauge is full and then use awake to kill him (or pair attack). This should finish him by now. Attack Patterns:

[0] Tera Blow: 140-150 damage to single target[0] Heal: recover 350-400 points of HP

Tips 1: Don’t forget to move your Sopia from Marie to Li Hua, so they get SP from the battle and also strengthen Li Hua.

Tips 2: Bathyscape is an armored enemy. You can deal significant damage by using pair attack. Awakening attack seems to have a piercing effect so you can use that too.

Go north to dimensional area, you’ll learn about Li Hua’s field skill (Fa jin). Tap at the broken wall to destroy it (marked as F on my map).This dungeon doesn’t have any special things, so just go north to BOSS location shown on the map.

BOSS: Legion Caliga

This one is not hard at all. I suggest you to use solo attack on this battle. Attack patterns:[0] Demon Shot: 300 damage to single target[0] Invasive maneuvers: 250-300 damage to single target

The Curfew Tolls

This area is pretty short I will guide you with my own words . From starting point head west to obtain item (south path is a dead end). Backtrack and head north and continue until you see a branching path. Head west first to obtain another item. Go back to previous area and take the south path.

In this dimensional area, you’ll learn about Araki’s Field skill (Iai). Use Iai to obtain the item on the first ledge on this narrow path. Continue south to the next area and you’ll fight with Araki. You don’t need to win in this battle (don’t know if you can win). The battle seems can be won but he suddenly used ‘falling leaves’ (deals about 500 damage) against me and it killed my characters. You’ll control Li Hua and Conor. Go to Piu Piu to buy Connor new equipment (he joins at level 1 so he’s very weak compared to Li Hua). Once you’re ready go to

Beyond the Rift

Boss: Legion Scutum

Lvl 8; HP 3850; 764 exp; 10 SP; susceptible to status effect.

This boss have ‘armor’ attribute so you need to attack it on pair. Just keep using pair attack and it’ll die easily because he only defenses himself most of the time. Attack Patterns:

[0] Self preservation: Defend himself from your attack[0] Invasive maneuver: deal 100-200 damage (neutral)

Go back to your base after beating him.

Basecamp

Event, visit Darwin and then head to the library. The new dungeon is unlocked now. Go to

The Land Desolate

You control Marie and Darwin on this dungeon. Head north and keep following the path to the dimensional area. Follow the path and use Darwin to do ‘Sprint’ jump so you can get the item that located on the middle.

Continue to the next dimensional area, switch your character into Marie. Use mystic to move the platform in order to get the item (from south switch, locate the platform to the right side; from the west switch, move the platform to the left side). Change the platform to initial position to continue. From here, just move along the path until you reach the boss.

PS: you’ll find sealed gate on previous area before the last dimensional area on this dungeon. Just ignore it for now.

BOSS: Firedrake

Lvl 10; HP 9.340; Aqua Attacks are effective

This one is easy and not as tough as its appearance. Make sure you use Cocytus/ attach (aqua) / Lotion (Aqua) to increase your damage output to this monster. Attack Patterns:

[0] Wyrd Wirm: deals 170 damage[0] Fire Breath: deals about 200 damage to all (blaze type)[0] Flame Breath: deals ?? damage (forget). He’ll recharge his energy before using this attack (on previous turn it’ll say something about fire). Use defend to reduce the damage.

Base camp

Talk to everyone and then to Lessica to switch your party members (You don’t need to have Darwin on your party). You’ll get a notification of new items on Piu Piu item shop.

Tips: the P.U.B is open now; you can talk to cutouts to obtain side quests. For now just do simple “Welcome to the P.U.B” in order to obtain red recipe).

The best party members for the next dungeon are Araki and Li Hua (but you can’t change Darwin with another member)

Destiny’s Height

Nothing special on this dungeon, there are 2 blocked location on this dungeon (one blocked with giant rock and another one blocked by a sealed mark). You don’t need to have Araki and Li Hua to complete this dungeon for main story purpose but you need to have both of them to obtain all items located on this dungeon (come back to this dungeon later).

PS: Watch out for battle that consists Calipash (2x) and Mimas. Always kill Mimas first because he can cancel your character’s attack.

BOSS: Conquest

Lvl 12; HP: 9045; one of the 4 horsemen.

Cool lookin boss. He has a lot of HP, you can use Necrosis (deals 15% of Current HP; Cupido Sopia, you get this by killing Wing Billiken) to inflict a large amount of damage at the beginning of this battle. Attack patterns:

[0] Divine Shackles: Gale : Deals about 300 gale damage[0] Divine Shackles: Flames: Deals about 300 blaze damage[0] Arrow of Dominion: Deals 700 damage to single target. He starts this attack when his HP below 50 % (CMIIW), so make sure your HP is above 700 and try not to do ‘pair’ attack because it’s gonna really hurt.

Basecamp

You need to bring Araki on this mission (I use Araki and Darwin). Go to

Forest Thickets

From the starting point go north, you’ll see a branching path. The path on the east leads to dimensional area which is blocked by Fa Jin skill, you can’t go north but you can take item on that area. Backtrack and continue north. On this area you may find treasure chest but if you don’t find it, then it means the treasure chest will spawn on the next area “C”.

Head west to another dimensional area and switch to Darwin to obtain the item on the isolated platform which can be reached by using “Sprint”. Backtrack to the north and use Iai to obtain the item. Move until you see a sealed gate. Go southeast and you’ll arrive on the first dimensional area that you have entered before (Fa jin dimensional), take the item and then backtrack. Head southwest and save your game

Equip Sopia that allows you to steal from the enemy.

Boss: War

Lvl 15; HP: 18.000

One of the 4 horsemen. You can steal Sere Katana from him (this katana is also sold on Piu Piu shop). Attack Patterns:

[0] Extreme Judgment: deals about 500 neutral damage to single target. This attack has low accuracy or I was extremely lucky against him.[0] Esecution Pose (aqua/gale/blaze): he’ll add one element to his attribute and the use Decapitation on the next turn[0] Decapitation: Deals about 500 damage to all (Choose pair so you can deal more damage because this attack will hurts all of your members anyway)

After this battle Araki will obtain new “awake” attack. Go back to

Just by looking at his level you should already know the outcome of this battle . Slicer does 52 k damage….

I choose Conor at this time (hehe , Li Hua is too hot to be sacrificed, Araki is strong, so it’s obvious why I choose Conor). You’ll automatically control Li Hua now. Go to Forest Thickets and head to “C” on the map. Kill 3 Mantis and then go back to Base Camp. Conor sucks, so you need to choose another candidate.

For this first playthrough I choose Li Hua, so from now on my guide will based on Li Hua path (I guess it won’t make a lot of difference judging from scenario flow on the menu).

The Curfew Tolls

Go to point (1) on my map, check the light to enter the curfew tolls part 2. From here your goal is ‘BOSS’ mark on my map. You can go there quickly by using Iai on the field without entering any of dimensional area, but let’s not do that because it’s the last time your journey with him and there is a thing to do inside the dimensional area.

The most important thing you can do inside the dimensional area is to kill one of the Panda Gang Member; Panda Warlord (PW). He’ll split into 4 clones, just use “Iai” on each of them until you found the real one. You can steal Pearl from him and use paradise apple items to increase your gains from this battle.

After killing Panda Warlord, go to BOSS and

He’s still easy like the 1st time when you met him. Attack Patterns:[0] Executioner’s Pose: Pyre: Add blaze elemental to himself. This attack usually followed by[0] Decapitation: damage all targets about 800 (based on your resistance against his element)[0] The red horse: Increase critical hit rate[0] Armor Crush: Decrease target defense and deals about 300 damage

His attacks are still miss a lot like the 1st time you met him. I believe he can change his element aside from blaze, but in my battle he only used pyre pose, just change your element according his element by using item or spell on the next turn after he had used executioner’s pose.

On the beginning of the battle use Paradise Apple: Wisdom and Skill. Steal Pearl from him and then you can kill it. This should gives you about 12480 OZ and 3800 EXP ( I fought him at LVL 11-20 area). You’ll also get a notification that you have drove off one of the eight members of panda gang.

Continue north (save your game) and you’ll meet with

It seems that he only uses 2 elements on this battle (aqua and gale). So use your Sopia to change your attribute according to his element to reduce damage taken and increase damage output.

Tips: Remove all Li Hua’s equipment if you want You can sell them for a little OZ.

Very easy battle, you can steal Defense seed from her. She has blaze attribute so begin the battle with aqua element. Attack Patterns:

After defeating her, you’ll obtain Li Hua’s Sopia. Go back to Base Camp.

This guide based on Li Hua’s sacrifice. I believe it will only makes a little difference on this chapter because any sacrifice will lead you to this path (CMIIW).

Base Camp

Talk to Araki/Li Hua on the main hall and there will be an event about Conor. You’ll control Conor, move to the main hall. Talk to Lessica to bring Darwin with you on this mission.

Tips:[0] Give Conor the best equipment available now because he’s very weak. If you have stolen lightning bow before then equip it on him now.[0] You can change Darwin’s human Sopia which will affect your advent attack type and animation.

Your goal is sealed spot on the map; point (1) on the map. You’ll see an event while going there.

You’ll control Marie now; go to the library to see an event with Lessica, she’ll ask Lessica to teach her about the song…. I hope she doesn’t forget her purpose for coming to the library.

Meanwhile on The Land of Desolate

Go to the sealed spot and head south. To the new part of this dungeon

The Land of Desolate part 2

Head south to the dimensional area. You can take either northern or southern path. Continue east until you reach another dimensional area. There is another panda gang member on this area. You’re about to fight Panda Moll (PM) which carries great amount of SP. Equip the Sopia that needed to be leveled up before you enter the battle.

Panda Moll

Lvl 20 HP: 2000; Exp 3800 (without P.A: Body); 1800 OZ (without P.A: Wisdom)

Level can be varies depends on area’s and character’s level!!

You can steal Luck Phermone which is not that important. Don’t forget to use P.A: Skill to increase your SP gain (you’ll learn 100 SP after using the item).

BOSS: Famine

HP:14.750; High Physical Defense

You can steal Carnaval from her. She has high physical defense and gale element. The tactic for this battle is Conor use Cremate and Darwin keep using break beat to increase break gauge. Use Ophan Li Hua (blaze element) to attack her and deals a massive amount of damage on break gauge advantage. Attack patterns:

[0] Corpse Grip: deals 200-250 damage to single target (low accuracy??; cause poison and blind)[0] Starving for Sustenance: Deals percentage based on your current HP (it won’t kill you; about 50 %) and change your element into aqua. T. She doesn’t use it this attack frequently though, so you can relax.[0] Starving for Succor: same as sustenance but it reduces your MP[0] Ruwach: 400 gale damage to all characters (I am on blaze element)

Base Camp

You need to seek 4th Sopia Core to help Darwin. You need to bring Araki on this mission (As Marie), so do that by talking to Lessica. Go to the new area.

The Remains of Faith

Go south from starting position, you’ll see a branching path on the next area. Ignore the north part at this moment because you can’t shoot the device (you need Conor), take the path on the east. Continue until you reach point (1), you can disarm the sealed gate if you bring Conor and shoot 2 devices so just ignore them at this moment (you’ll come back to this spot later, so remember it).

Head east to dimensional area, you can get the item by using Mystic to move the giant block that blocks your path. Continue to point (2). You need to move the jumping platform to get the item, you can do that by using mystic on left symbol.

Continue to Sopia Core location and don’t forget to save before entering (even there is an auto-save feature).

BOSS: Death

HP: 15900 LVL 20 strong against magic

You can steal Topaz from him. It’s the strongest horsemen IMO. Attack patterns:

[0] Banish: Deals 600 magic damage to single target[0] Pendulum Bow: Decreased target’s speed for 5 turns[0] Breath of Underworld: reduce your HP to 1[0] Ahh: He usually uses it after using Breath of Underworld attack, so use this chance to heal your characters.[0] Cremate/Cocytus: deals about 600 Blaze/Aqua damage to single target[0] Chaos parade: May cause instant death to single target (add gale elemental on the target)

I suggest you to use your charge gauge for Marie’s prayer healing spell, after he has used breath of underworld attack. Attach Araki/Li Hua with the element that strong against him. Let Araki/Li Hua do the most of the damage since the boss is strong against magical damage (Marie’s physical damage is pathetic). Always keep your Hp about 1000 to be safe.

Tips: If Marie is slower than Death then you need to cast sprinter’s breath (Cheetah Sopia) or raise your speed status by equip latest Jewel available. Thanks to Vicky for this tips.

Base Camp

Event with Darwin on his room. There will be an earthquake. Go to Main Hall and choose your partner, I suggest you to choose Marie/Conor because of their ‘awake’ can heal all members. Go east from the main hall to see a new transporter device.

Tips: I hope you have a lot of Lavender on your inventory (about 5). You can’t buy it from item shop, if you don’t have Lavender then buy another status recovery items like Libertea, etc.

Zenith Bound

You’ll fight with Legion Caliga as soon as you enter this area. Defeat it and then head north until you see other members standing. Save your game and

BOSS: Tentacle

HP 12.000; weak against Holy

You can steal Vin Brulee from this monster. It constantly regens 600 Hp (5% of its max HP) at the end of each turn. On the beginning of the battle, change Tentacle’s element into any element you want by using spell or item. After that change your character’s element into element that have an advantage against it (Ex: if you change it to gale then make your characters into blaze). Attack Patterns:

[0] Diabolous: Dark damage to all targets about 500[0] Megiddo blessing: Deals about 400 damage to all targets and cause bad statuses on them (Seal, poison,etc). This is where you need to use Lavender to remove bad statuses from your characters. If you don’t have Lavender then good luck on choosing which status that you want to cure first (I suggest to remove seal first).[0] Demon Shot: 300-400 damage to single target[0] Subjugation: Netural physical damage to single target, deals about 400 damage.

Format spell has same effect as Lavender but since your character area sealed you may need to recover him/her by using Libertea.

Tips From Chaos Heart:

For anyone that needs help because Meggido’s Blessing(Tentacle’s attack) silences/poisons/blinds you, just have Marie(or whoever your designated healer is) equip a Close targe. It makes her unable to be silenced, and with Format she can restore everything on any character, she will have to do this twice unless you have two Close targes to equip on both Darwin and her.

For me, Marie’s my healer/supporter so she has Flower equipped, and at that time I had it 5/5 so HP Trickle was available, this made her able to ignore poison and Format Darwin only, and just continue the assault. I hope this helped

You only need to reduce its Hp below 6000 to end this battle. It’ll use forced regen which will heals 12.000 HP and automatically end this battle.

After an event, you need to sacrifice someone again. Choose the one you want to sacrifice.

PS:

Before sacrificing your candidate go to The remains of Faith. You need to bring Conor this time. Shoot all the A mark on the northwest, southwest, southeast, and northeast. After doing that, go to (PP) area on my map, check the device over there and you should see Panda Punk on the middle of this area. Kill him (use Paradise Apple items to increase your gains on this battle). You can also steal Luck Pheromone from him.

Conor Sacrifice

You can use Conor as a sacrifice only on 2nd or third ceremony of selection. Go to Beyond the Rift (1) and head to the spot where you fought Legion before (BOSS). Check the light and

Your goal is BOSS on the map. As you progress on this dungeon shoot all Aim Devices on the map. If you have shot all 3 Aim devices then you’ll see a device appears on (PQ) spot. Shoot the new device and there will be Panda Queen Appear. Defeat her as a part of panda gang member side quest.

BOSS: Famine

HP: 17.000

Lvl: 24 (2nd sacrifice), 36(3rd sacrifice)

HP: 15.850 (2nd sacrifice), 17.000 (3rd sacrifice)

Has a gale elemental,. I suggest you to use pair cremate to deal damage against her since she has high physical defense. Attack patterns:

[0] Starving for Sustenance: Deals percentage of damage based on your current HP and change your characters attribute to aqua.[0] Starving for Succor: same as Starvinf sustenance but it reduces MP instead of HP.[0] Black Horse: deals a little amount of damage and cause blind (all)[0] Pscychoblast: Deals a moderate amount of damage to all targets (neutral element??)[0] Ruwach: Deals gale based magic damage to all members

Steal Luck Seed from this boss. It can use all Conor’s skill and change your attribute which makes this battle a little bit hard. He can deals about 1000 damage per hit if he has element adavantage over you, so use lotion to change your element to gain advantage of this battle.

You’re free to choose to visit any place listed on this guide. You only need to visit one place and defeat the boos that guards the Sopia Core to progress with the story mode. But I suggest you to defeat all these bosses since they give you a lot of EXP and new Sopia ability. You’re also free to choose whoever you want to take with you on the mission.

Tips: Use Paradise Apple items when fighting the boss.

The Land Desolate (Link to the map)

You can find the bosses on the same spot where you had found Sopia Core before (Land Desolate part 2). You’ll fight with

BOSS: Fire Drake

Lvl. 30 ; HP: 12.885

You can steal Demon Dragon Fang (Darwin’s weapon). Its attack patterns are still the same as fire drake that you have encountered before. Just use pair Cocytus and it’ll die in no time.

You’ll obtain Dragon Sopia from this battle.

Go to the “blocked at the moment; on the northwest” on the first part of this area. You can pass now. From here just follow the map until you reach the boss

PS: There is one of Panda gang members; Panda Scout. You need to use Marie’s Mystic to start a fight with him.

Boss: Ceyx

Lvl 30; HP 14.900; strong against physical attack

You can steal Azure Dress (Marie’s armor). Attack this thing with magic that has elemental adavantage over it. It has aqua attribute but can change its element on the battle. It also can cast Plunge which will lower your character’s parameter (str, mgc, and def).

You’ll obtain Kraken Sopia as a reward

Go to the sealed location on the first area. After that use my map to reach the boss on this location.

PS: I find Giant Panda (Panda Runner) lurking on the 2nd part of this dungeon, you can fight it by using Fa Jin on him (Li Hua’s field skill)

BOSS: Argos

Lvl.30; HP: 10.920; Releases Poison spores every 4 turns

Steal Poison Targe from this monsters which will grants you full immunity skill. This boss will regen 5% of its max HP on every turn. It has Gale attribute, you only need to pair cremate to kill this thing very quickly.

You’ll obtain Azi Dahaka Sopia as a reward

Go to the spot where you have obtained Sopia Core and head north to the next area.

You can steal golden monkey claws (Li Hua’s Weapon; CMIIW Because Li Hua is already dead so I can’t test whether this is her weapon or no). This beast is pure physical attackers. Using

Guardian’s shield may help you to boost your defense. He uses counter frequently, I suggest you to use “pair banish” to fight him.

You’ll obtain Gigas Sopia as a reward.

After obtaining one Sopia Core you can talk to Lessica to begin a new Ceremony of Selection. Choose the one you will sacrifice.

Last Sacrifice: Marie

It’s near the end of the game….. You must sacrifice this chick to save the world. You gain control as Marie, go to Library to meet with Darwin. To start the ritual, you need another sopia core. You can do that by doing the same boss killing like when you have obtained 5th sopia core before. Visit this link for the guide).

So come back after obtaining the core. Talk to Lessica to see an event

Battle: Herald (Ophan Kenny G??)

Yuhuu, finally our level is close now (he’s at level 42). Steal the first turn then… huh?? I only got Vin Brulee. After that I know that this battle can’t be won. On the next turn he’ll use judgment with a troll smile which deals 99.999 damage to Marie. Damn you Kenny G.

Talk to Lessica and Marie’ll be able to walk again. Go to

The Falls of Acheron (The Falls of Acheron (1) map)

Same thing as you have done before, you need to go to BOSS on the map. There is Panda Prince (PP) on this dungeon. You need to use Mystic to make him fall from the platform. Make sure you make fight it at this time.

You may fight him later but after some event that allows you to do that

BOSS: Death

HP: 23.593; strong against magic

Steal Sapphire from him at the beginning of the battle. On the second turn use “pair Hot Pepper” to increase charge gauge filling rate (breath of underworld attack will charge your gauge a lot, so you can use Collbrande ASAP). His attack patterns are still same as before, but he won’t stop

attacking after using breath of the underworld (on previous battle he always “ahhh..” after using it).

The most important thing is to make your character faster than him (if by any chance your characters are slower than him then equip Sopia that has Sprinter’s breath spell to boost your character’s speed on the battle). He also has “Chaos Parade” which can cause an instant death if it hits you (You can prevent this by equipping ascension targe).

Enter pedestal chamber, event, and then swipe your screen to fight

BOSS: Ophan Marie

Steal Magic Seed from her and then just kill her.. She only has basic attack spell (Banish, cremate, cocytus, and mowe), just use her elemental attribute to exploit her .

Base Camp

Talk to Lessica and agree to listen what she’s going to say. You’ll be teleported to

Abaddon

Talk with her one more time. Choose “no” first, when she’s ask “Can you sacrifice the entire world?”

Congratulations you just beat Chaos Rings 2

Save your data and load it again (DON’T START NEW GAME + unless you really want to play anything from the very beginning).

Go back to Abaddon and talk to Lessica again. This time answer with “yes” unless you want to see previous ending one more time .

Battle: Lessica

You can steal Gateau Chocolate from her . Her Hp is about 10.000 (I don’t equip sprite Sopia, sorry please leave comment if you know). Attack Patterns:

[0] Mental Wall: Blocks your magic attack on the next turn after she used it[0] Sanctus: neutral/holy magic damage about 400

She’s easy just keep attacking her. She’ll join you at the end of the battle, SWEET!!

Now go right to the moving stairs and check the panel to descend. You’ll see similar area below so just going east and you’ll face

BOSS: War and Conquest

First of all, Lessica will use her cool attack at the beginning of the battle (LVL 2 Awoken). But they don’t die…. Steal Lancination (War) and The symposium (Conquest). Their attack pattern is still the same as before.

Use Brahmastra ASAP, this attack should cause blind to War which will render him blind and useless. I suggest you to kill War first and then switch to Conquest (Conquest tends to use support spell like item estop, def estop, etc).

Continue and you’ll arrive at planet’s core. Just keep following the path (nothing special in this area. It is pretty straight forward, so you don’t need map). At the end of the path you’ll face.

BOSS Death and Famine

Remember when Darwin said

But here we’re now facing him again . This battle is quite hard. Steal Sapphire (Death) and Angel Howl (Famine). Most dangerous combo is breath of the underworld and then any Famine’s attack will kill your characters …

Cast pair “Hot pepper” first and save your charge gauge to do Collbrande. If you’re slower than them, then use sprinter’s breath to boost your character’s speed.

BOSS: Neron (De javu)

Steal Vin Brulee (VDSQ) and then just wait like you did on the very beginning of this game.

He can attack twice per turns. At the beginning of the battle he’ll use megiddo’s blessing on every turn. Never use pair attack until he has stopped casting megiddo’s blessing (about2-3 turns). Attack Patterns:

[0] Megiddo’s blessing; Deals 400 damage and inflict bad statuses on target[0] Hammer of Tyranny: 400 damage to single target

[0] Flame of destruction Kindled: Preparation before casting Gehenna flame on the next turn.[0] Gehenna flame: Neutral damage (even the name of this attack is flame) to all targets (1500 damage). Use Defend when to reduce the damage of this attack.[0] Forced Regeneration: heals about 1500 Hp to itself. Change its element into gale, aqua, or blaze. use it for your advantage.

I haven’t tried it yet but try to use necrosis to reduce 15% of his Hp at the beginning of this battle, just keep doing this until your normal damage deal more damage than necrosis (I don’t have Cupido sopia equipped when fought him).

You start as Darwin on the middle, your goal is to go to point (1) on the map and then touch the crimson crystal. This will unlock barriers on the other area. Now backtrack to either SL or SR, switch to Orlando.

Tips: All the bosses should be very easy for you to handle, assuming you’re already at higher level than them. (My party’s Level is about 55-60). ALWAYS HAVE STEAL!!!

Go to BOSS 1 Location and you’ll fight

It weak against Gale so “Pair Ruwach” will kill this thing very fast. You can steal Talisman (Aqua) from him.

Switch to Araki and then go to BOSS 2.

You can steal Talisman(Gale) from it. Use Pair Karma to kill it quickly.

BOSS 3: Legion Praetor Lvl. 42; HP: 25.730

It weaks against Dark. Use Pair Dansleif. Don’t bother to steal from him since he only carries Gateau chocolate.

Continue until you reach point (2). Upss… , seal barrier, backtrack to SL or SR.

For Orlando Go to BOSS 4

Qitian Dansheng Lvl.42 Hp: 22.810

You Must have Steal ability !!! Steal Perfect Knuckles from it (it’s better than Mecha Fenghuang). This monkey is pure physical attackers, watch out for omnicide attack (reduce Hp to 1).

Switch to Araki’s Party. Go to BOSS 5 Location

Vodinoi Lvl.42; HP: 23.450

It has Strong Physical Defense, you can steal Quartz Dress from it. Defeat it and Darwin can continue.

Go north to FINAL location. See an event and you’ll fight

BOSS: Herald; lvl 42; HP: 22.000

At the beginning of the battle, steal Brand of Judgment (Darwin’s Weapon) from him. He’ll start the battle with Death Sentence. From now on his attacks will follow this pattern.

First Trumpet: Deals Blaze based damage to all members. Use Pair ” Absolute Zero” after this.Second Trumpet: Aqua Based damage to all members. Use Pair “Ruwach” after this.Third Trumpet: Gales Based damage to all members. Tips on finishing the quest:

Flavor Research 2

You need 10 Plum Jars to finish the quest. You can’t buy it from Piu Piu Shop. There are 2 ways to obtain this item (As far as I know; leave comment if you know another method):

[0] You can find it on treasure chest on high level dungeon (51-70)

[0] Equip Cupido Sopia for “Rare Collector” ability. Go to All Seeing Eye and wwandering around crimson crystal (middle path). Sometimes you’ll fight anemon enemy called invidia. You can defeat them easily and if you equip rare collector ability you should be able to get about 2 Plum Jars per battle.

[0] You can Steal Plum Jars from LVL.20 Calipash at Destiny’s height. (I haven’t tested this method yet, thanks to deoxys for the info)

Ophanim Shrine Bosses

Ophan Orlando

HP: 34.250; steal: Vin Brulee (VDQS)

He can attacks 3 times per turn and very fast. His storm fang can cancel your attack, so unless your characters’ speed surpass his speed you’ll have a trouble facing with this boss. Easy solution is to have Emerald recipe (3 green sopia) on your fastest characters and then keep using pair attack, so his storm fang doesn’t get a chance to stop your action.

Ophan Marie

HP: 10.000

Steal Vin Brulee (VDQS), regenerates HP

It has only 10.000 HP but it can regenerate 10.000 HP per turn. This means you need to deal 10.000 damage on one turn. If you can’t defeat her quickly, she will use eternal sleep and it will kill you. It’s easy to do but here are some tips:

[0] Use pair hot pepper on first turn and then boost your attack via spell or item. Just wait until you reach charge level 2 and then use Collbrande. It should kill her unless you’re under leveled. Equip Dragon sopia so your charge level starts from level 1.

[0] Equip magic counter and counter skill. Attack her with opposite elements and then hope you’ll counter her attacks .

Ophan Araki

HP: 42.500; steal: Vin Brulee (VDQS)

Targets those with High HP. Use defend on the next turn after you have seen him using demonic strength (You only need to use defend on Character that is on lower HP than the other character). The most dangerous attack is “empathy attack”… this is why you should never use pair attack because it can make you see a game over appear on the screen. Revive the dead character on the very next turn (he rarely uses this attack in a row).

Ophan Conor

HP: 31.500

Critical magic skill

It’s just ordinary battle. He attacks 2 times per turn and can cast variety of magic. Just build your charge level attack and use Godslayer to kill it . He’s fast but still slower thatn Ophan Orlando.

Ophan Li Hua

HP: 38.000; high physical defense weak to magic; steal: Vin Brulee (VDQS)

She’ll use Mental Wall after a few turns. From now use attack item on your inventory to deal damage to her (it won’t be reflected back). Make sure you have a lot of attacking items ( ember breach, chill breach, etc); you can buy them from Piu Piu shop. Steal Hp bypass mental wall so you can equip Chameleon Sopia to help you.

It’s best to bring Marie on this battle. Equip her with Dragon gate 3 skills. Don’t use physical since it probably deals a petty damage (mine was 0 ). Don’t use pair attack because her attacks going to hurts you a lot and don’t give a chance to heal your character.

Yours Truly Starring

You need to solve all side quests first before able to take this side quest.

Piu Piu lvl 100

HP: 28.000 from analyze but I’m pretty sure it’s more higher than this number.

Steal: Piu Piu Collection DVD

He attacks 2 times per turn and regen 1400 HP perturn. Speed is very important in this battle, make sure your characters can move faster than him. He can seal your Sopia and Item commands which is very very dangerous, so DON”T USE PAIR ATTACK IN THIS BATTLE. Don’t depends on attack and sopia command to do damage because he can cast stone and mental wall (block magic and physical attack; item attack will pierce this buff).

Build your charge level to 3 while trying to move break gauge to “player”. Use “break beat” whenever you can. boost your attack with spell or items, and then use Godslayer. This should kill him now (I deal about 8000-13000 damage per hit with 1600 strength status; Player break gauge, opposite element with Piu, and attack pheromone).

Additional tips from CY:one big thing that helps with these battles is Gigas’ sacrifice. Max out Araki’s HP with sopia/accessories, use sacrifice, use last supper(Vin Brulee VDSQ if he dies), repeat. I killed Piu-Piu in two hits (about 17,000 damage each with Araki at ~12,000 HP, level 82). It also killed Orphan Marie in one hit, even when under-leveled. You can also cast mental/stone wall on him with a faster character to minimize damage to him before he casts sacrifice.

You’ll get Super MV as a reward (very nice Jewels; in terms of function). See the ending (it’s funny dude; BACHS’ Hat, LOL).

I sort the sidequest from the easiest to hardest one.

The GreyBeard Awakes

Rec. Level: 100

You need to defeat Legion Pia and Iratus. Both of them have 27180 HP. You can steal Last Supper from them. They’re just a normal enemy with high HP but make sure you don’t use Pair attack because they can use Ascension to blow you out. They’re also weak to holy, so Lessica may be useful on this battle.

Reward: Auryn

Amon will get stronger if you open the book. Check it once again if you want to make the battle against weaker Amon.

Flavor Research 3

Rec. Level: 100

Method 1:You need to gather 10 Last Suppers. You can get them by killing boss enemy on Abaddon (LVL 101-200); ex: Shi Hou and Wyvern. Equip Cupido Sopia to increase rare drop (you probably obtain Gateau Chocolate if you’re not equipping it).

Method 2:If you are too lazy to train your characters… (which is bad because you’ll need a high level to

face upcoming boss battle), you can steal it from side quest bosses on this april update, they have last supper as their stolen items.

Reward: Auryn

Vs Neron

Rec. Level: 110

Recommended Sopia: Azi Dahaka (for healing purpose), Kraken (MP ½), free slot, Marie (for regenerate spell).

EQUIP DARWIN WITH AURYN!!!! Yeah, Unequip Super MV is painful but, you’ll face very hard time against neron if you’re not equipping Auryn because of Megiddo’s blessing. He can attacks you twice/turn. Don’t bother to use Collbrande or Godslayer because it’s bugged and seems only to deal the damage from the last hit. You can steal Last supper from him but I won’t bother because you can get them easily by grinding on Abaddon.

Vs Li Hua

Rec Level 110

Steal: Defense Seed

Recommended Things: Super MV, Azi Dahaka, Legion (triple punch spell), and Gigas (for HP boost).

You’ll use Orlando (mine was at lvl 107) on this battle. At the very first of the battle use chill/blizzard breach on her immediately to gain elemental advantage. She can attack you twice/turn and her attack is really hurting you. You need to cast Triple Punch ASAP after gain elemental advantage. Make sure your Hp is above 5000 to be safe. Just keep healing until you get the chance to attack her (above 5000).

Use Triple punch again if she uses Gladiator’s Pulse to recover her status (Iron needle will deal about 4000-5000 damage on normal attack status). Sometime she’ll only use argh or ragh which do nothing, consider yourself lucky if she does that. Use Chill/ Blizzard Breach again if she cast Stone wall until the effect gone by itself. Phantom Leap is also bugged on this battle (you’ll only get the full damage if her Hp is about half of her max HP). Don’t nother to steal Defense seed because it’s not worth the trouble.

Reward: Incognytus

Recommended things : Super MV/ speed booster, 3 gale sopia to boost speed, attacking items (elemental breach)

The key is patience, you’ll defeat him but it will take a time if you’re underleveled (about 100). Make sure you cast regenerate on the first turn. This will save you from his guillotine attack. It’s very helpful if you can acit first on every turn so you can heal immediately after he has used breath of the underworld attack (it seems that he uses it every 3 turns). You can use Stressor on the beginning of the battle until your attack deals more damage than stressor.

Reward: Ariadne’s Dress and Death Sopia

Vs War

HP: about 28.523 ( I calculate it from stressor damage)

Recommended things: Super MV, 3 gale sopia (Azi dahaka, Owl, Cheetah), attacking items (elemental breach)

MAKE SURE YOU ARE FASTER THAN HIM, you should faster if you use 3 gale sopia recipes. It’s pretty simple from now. Use opposite element (breach) to attack him after he use his elemental Pose. You’ll take about 5000 damage from his pose attack (about 7000 if you’re on weaker element). Use empathy attack if you don’t see him using “pose”.

Empathy attack will deal a lot of damage to him. But never use it if he’s on red horse mode (CMIIW; it greatly increase his critical attack).

Reward: The zodiac and War Sopia

Vs Famine

HP: about 19380 (calculated from stressor damage)

Recommended things: Auryn, 3 Gales sopia, attacking items (elemental breach).

This battle is hard since it’s Conor who fight her . Equip auryn to negate the bad effect from black horse attack. Use stressor at the beginning of this battle to reduce her Hp about 4000. Keep your HP above 4000 to be safe because she can attack twice per turn. Attack her with opposite element (use items to attack her because your MP will run out quickly because of her “swallow tail” and Starving for sustenance).

Now you have 3 Sopia train them until they reach level 4. I suggest you to use Li hua and Lessica.

Level up tips

1 st method:

Equip dragon Sopia (+1 charge) nad then on every battle use advent attack (araki sopia is preferred since it can cause blowout). This attack should end most of enemies on one hit. I prefer to do this on all seeing eye, since it seems to have strongest enemy on this game.

2 nd method:

Go to land of desolate and look for the bug enemy (Katydid). Use Paradise apple body, and then always left one katydid on the battle until he uses “ Call for reinforcement” which will summon another katydid into battle. Just repeat this progress until you’re satisfied.

3rd method (thanks to Doggie):

Let a fast person to use Paradise Apple: BodyUsing a spellcaster (Marie/Lessica), use a Rank 2 spell (Karma/Absolute Zero/Ruwach) to kill the enemy

Do this in every battle, regardless of exp, this will cost quite a bit of Oz from buying a load of Paradise Apple: Body, but leveling will be very fast.

I prefer the 1st method more than 2nd method. It’s all up to you though .

Train until you have 3 horsemen sopia reach level 4.

VS Conquest

HP: about 26250 (calculated from gangrene damage)

Recommended things: Super MV (Speed Booster if you’re too underleveled and can’t keep up with his speed), 3 Gale sopia, attacking items (elemental breach).

You must act first on this battle because he can attack twice per turn and deals a lot of damage to your character. You don’t need to equip Auryn because it can’t block his “stops” attack. Watch out when his HP fall below half because he’ll start to mix “Arrow of Dominion” to his attack.

Use Gangrene at the beginning of this battle until it deals only 2000-3000. After that attack him when by using elemental breach. Keep wait until you’re able to do do crimson chain which is also bugged.

From now on I always use Darwin and Lessica. Train them until you have mastered all horsemen sopia (you will get nobel prize sopia achievement after doing this ). All of the tactics against the boss are very much the same. Here are my setup:

Qilin Gate will give you HP and MP boost, if you find yourself act after the enemies change auryn into speed booster.

Lessica

With this set up Lessica will always act first on the battle (unless you’re really underleveled). Equip Super MV because Lessica already resist to all bad statuses (untouchable) and you use it on appropriate gender (Darwin wearing Super MV , nono).

Overall tactic against upcoming boss battle

Always cast regenerate on the very first battle. After that just attack and heal until your charge level reach lvl 3, use Divine Judgment (Lessica’s advent), this will stop your opponent for 4 turns. On this turn just hit them with everything you got, if you want to use sacrifice use it now because the enemy won’t be able to attack/counter. It depends on your remaining HP, so you might want to use Triumphal Song to restore your Hp before you use it (if your HP is too low).

A Couple’s Shadow

Location: Land of Desolate Boss area (wyvern’s location)

Darwin; HP: 33200 Steal: Power seedMarie; HP: 24200 Steal: Magic Seed

Follow overall tactic and you should be fine. Darwin can use Collbrande on this battle and Marie can also use Ironclad Mercy. Just keep healing until you reach charge level 3 if this battle is too hard for you .

Brother’s Shadow

Location: Forest Thicket (1) Boss area

Orlando; HP: 33800 Steal: Speed SeedAraki; HP: 43600 Steal: Power Seed

I suggest you to equip Auryn because they can seal your skill if you don’t equip it. Remember to use defend on the next trun if you see he uses demonic strength.

Reward: Rend the Heavens (Araki’s Weapon) and “ Shadows and Dust” (Orlando’s weapon)

A Sister’s Shadow

Location: Destiny’s Height Boss area

Conor will use Je ne Sais Quoi (not sure if I spell it right ), and it can be quite annoying since it really buff Li Hua’s damage. It’s still easy though Kill Conor first because I hate him

Herald: 4865 (Gangrene damage; HP: 24000) Steal: Last supper

Equip conquest, Azi Dahaka, and it’s all up to you for the last sopia

The key to win on this battle is Mental wall, just keep casting it and heal when necessary.

Location: Remain of Faith boss area

Now Darwin can use Godslayer which can deal a lot of damage!!! But if you follow overall tactic you should face no trouble (I was at level 135 when fought this battle).

Reward: Blade of Quale (Darwin’s Weapon) and Seraphic Rings (Lessica’s weapon)

Shadow of the Omega

Garrick: 7193 (Stressor initial damage; HP: 48000); Steal: LavenderAlto: 6863 (Stressor initial damage; Hp: 46000); Steal: Gateau Chocolate

Make sure you act first and ALWAYS USE STONE WALL ON THE BEGINNING OF THE BATTLE, because Garrick will definetily use True Magnum Fang. On the second turn Alto will use Lady Chaos 0 (can’t be blocked by Stone wall), so solo defend. On the 3rd turn immediately use pair regenerate and then proceed the rest of the battle with Solo command until you reach lvl 3 charge (use divine punishment).

First of all, change into your main Party (mine are Darwin and Lessica) and train them to level 160 or more. I sort the quest from the easiest to the hardest.

Go to Beyond the Rift and head to the point where you have fought with Famine.

BOSS: Mucalinda

HP: 40.000Steal: Last Supper

First of all, equip AURYN!! It uses synthesized spore which will cause bad statuses when you don’t have untouchable skill. First have higher speed than this boss by use tiger gate 3 skill (3 green sopia; on Orlando). I suggest Marie to equip 3 blue sopia (boost her magic greatly, Chameleon is a must because you need steal HP skill). As the battle begins use “pair regenerate”, after this you should only need to use “steal HP” every turn until it dies. Just build use “ holy solaces” advent attack to restores your HP and MP when needed.

Reward : Defense Seed x 50

Quest for Octopus Balls

Can cause poison, he usually uses one elemental spell (mowe, cremate, and cocytus) and saltstraumen (physical attack). You only need to have higher speed than this one and you’ll be able to survive this battle easily (3 green siopia + speed booster should handle this unless you’re really under-under-leveled).

Treasure Hunting 101

Character :[0] Darwin (lvl 168)[0] Lessica (lvl 165)

Go to Remains of Faith, see the event and then check the sparkling spot nearby (1). You’ll find Piu Piu Memo 2 over there, now head to point (2) to find PP Memo 3. Continue to point (3) to find next hint; Staircase monkey. Now go to point (4) and check another sparkling spot over there (if you can’t find it then maybe you need to defeat the monkey boss on the boss’ spot). Now go to previous area (area between point (3) and (4)).

BOSS: Vritra 65.000 weak to holy

Defense on the next turn when you see word “ gravity increases near Vritra …..”, because he’ll use powerful lightning attack on the next turn. Black Haze can cancel your attack, so it’s a must to act faster than him!!! Slower than him almost mean losing to him because he probably cast the spell every turns.

Reward: Speed Seed x 50

Create Manly Muscles

Ok, the first side quest on this update (maybe the hardest side quest). You need to use Connor (DAMN!!!) and Orlando. If you have followed my advice then both of them should be around at lvl 160 (after killing some side quest bosses above you should lvl up a lot). Head to Forest Thicket (1) ; Boss’ spot.

BOSS: Mei Houwang

HP: 59280Steal : Last Supper

His physical attack, and his speed is ridiculously high. My Orlando has about 2300 speed (with 3 Green Sopia and speed booster) but he can still act faster than Orlando, Sprinter’s breath?? Yeah you need this spell, but sometimes he still can act faster than you.

My tactic needs you to have 3-6 Last Suppers. Connor absolutely will move last on this battle, unless you really love him and feed him with a lot lot of Speed Seeds . Equip Connor with Gigas (Sacrifice), Dragon, and another sopia of your choice. This tactic needs to have Orlando to always act first on every turns.

[1] On the beginning of the battle use Sprinter’s Breath and Connor use Sacrifice.[2] On the next turn have Orlando use Last Supper to recover Connor’s HP. Connor keep using Sacrifice[3] After using 2 sacrifices, You should have dealt about 30-40 k damage to him and your charge level should reach lvl 2[4] Finish him using Orlando’s Phantom Leap.

Tips:[0] Equip Connor with brooch, so it’ll grant him with regenerate skill[0] You can also use Gangrene at the beginning of this battle, it deals about 10 k damage.At this time Let Connor heal himself[0] If you keep dying, just move to the next quest first. They’re easier even their level is higher than this one

I suggest you to NEVER use pair attack until you have defeat both of Bugman Punk. Rick only able to cast fire based spells (cremate and karma) so make sure your elements are aqua. They frequently use attach (gale) to your character so make sure keep changing back to aqua element (use absolute zero or blizzard breach)

Defeat 2 bugman Punk at the same time because they can revive each other. I suggest you to keep using mental wall (single) to reflect karma spell. Other characters keep using blizzard breach or absolute zero until your charge level reach lvl 3. Use advent attack (divine punishment) to stop them and then you know what to do next .

Tips:[0] Mercenary daggers is Orlando’s weapon (it’s very weak lvl 10 tier weapon! Maybe you already have it so you don’t need to steal it).[0] No need to cast regenerate because it’s not necessary as long as you have aqua elemental and heal when needed.[0] they may still be able to act faster than you when they have used sprinter’s breath. You can counter this by casting sprinter’s breath too on your characters (Cheetah sopia have it).

[0] If you wonder, Rick is Orlando’s friend that died at the beginning of the game, that’s why the quest name is “To Remember Them” (CMIIW) and if you analyze Bugman Rick, it’s said that Bugman Rick is the reincarnation of Rick.

You need to equip Auryn to block the curse effect, He uses “blow of regret” which may cause blowout (it seems auryn also blocks Blowout attack, because I never blown out after using Auryn). Make sure Darwin always acts first (3 green Sopia and sprinter’s breath spell). For Lessica, let her cast mental wall on each turn. Always act solo, until you reach charge level 3. Use divine punishment and kill it.

Tips: I can’t use sacrifice on this monster. It always misses.

The Legendary Hero

Talk to Piu Piu to start this quest

Knight 41.000 weak to aqua; steal chocolate

Main attacker, it acts twice/ per turn. It deals about 2000-4000 damage to single target (My Darwin has 1775 defense and Lessica 1445). Sometimes it cast chocolate to heal… (only 500, consider you’re lucky when it uses chocolate ).

Black Mage 28295 weak to gale steal plum jam

He’s the main caster on this party. He casts elemental spells and have the lowest speed on this battle.

Monk 29950 weak to blaze regen 1498 Hp every turns steal Vin Brulee (VDQS)

Supporter, He usually casts supporting spell (gladiator’s pulse, sprinter’s breath, etc). His only attack is Sanctus which only deals about 2000 damage.

I suggest you to kill black mage first because he is the easiest to kill. ALWAYS ACT SOLO ON THIS BATTLE. I believe your character will act faster than them (except for Knight, he has high speed). Let Darwin do all attacking and healing (equip Marie’s Sopia to have Healing hand which will heal HP to full), Use Ruwach (you have it from Azi Dahaka Sopia) and switch to Breeze breach when Monk have casted Mental Wall. Lessica always casts Mental Wall on Darwin (it’s important to keep Darwin alive since he’s the healer). Prioritize your healing over attack (always maintain your HP above 6000).

Tips: Just in case you don’t know, mental wall will reflect all target spells even though there is only one character that has Mental Wall status.

Use Divine Punishment when you reach lvl 3 charge attack. It should kill Black mage, if not then kill it now. 2nd target is Knight, just do anything to kill him. The last one is Monk which is very easy since its role as supporter.

Reward: Vin Brulee VDQS x 10

The Final Pedestal of Earthly Desires

You can find him at the last area of All seeing eye. Use portal to go there quickly.

The last battle is very easy. You only need to use pair Triumphal Song on every turns until your charge level reach lvl 3 and then use divine punishment to end this battle (use Gangrene and stressor first instead of using sacrifice immediately; gangrene will deals about 19 k damage when he’s at full HP).

Reward: Piu Piu item Collection (zine, CD, DVD) x 50

You need to defeat all these pandas to unlock P.U.B quest “Panda Gang Returns” . Accept the quest from Piu Piu and then you can find Panda King at All Seeing Eye (middle path)

Panda King; LVL 77

HP: 19.925; Carries great OZ, exp, and SP.

First of all, kill panda prince and queen first because they can heal each other and cast variety of spells on you. NEVER EVER USE PAIR because Panda King can cast cast ascension (blowout if it hits). Focus on one panda at a time and then use your awakening attack (Don’t use Godslayer when there are a lot of targets because it’ll deal a pity damage; divided to 3 targets).

Panda king also can cast Extreme healing but he doesn’t use it until His HP dropped below half. I recommend you to fight him at level 80 (complete 4 Ophanim quest first until you unlock lvl 100 area). Use paradise apple items when there is only one panda left.
