Changemakers Confluence 2K14 Date: 26th- 30th June
Venue: Ishan institute of management and technology
Changemakers Confluence 2K14 is a 4 day residential youth conference, going to be
held at IIMT Greater Noida. The conference aims at providing the youth of the
country with a platform to exchange ideas and opinions on political issues that are
integral to the development of the nation as a whole at the moment.
The confluence intends to bring together 450+ students of diverse educational
backgrounds from all over the country to put forward their views to bring about a
change in the current scenario of chaos and pandemonium in the political image of
India. The confluence thus means to create leaders in divergent fields of CHANGE.
The three day Confluence is going to be divided into two sections.
1) Two day extensive dialogue on varied political affairs: The idea behind
this two day session is to enable the participants to shed all inhibitions and present
their perceptions and convictions, deliberate, discuss and debate on issues that
concern them as the future of a country that is in dire need of selfless and diligent
leaders.
2) The final day: The final day of the confluence is going to consist of a
concluding session where the matters discussed in the first two days are going to be
concluded with possible solutions. Many a times our approach to the problems of our
country remains confined to drawing room discussions and debate competitions in
schools and colleges.
The concluding day of the confluence accords an opportunity to the participants as
well as the speakers to deliberate on the possible solutions of these political conflicts
The Changemakers Confluence also aims at producing leaders in all fields of politics
that need CHANGE. Therefore, these solutions are going to be materialised by the
participating leaders in their part of the country thereby spreading the message of
change throughout the country.

Indian Youth Parliament
Esteem Youth Foundation (EYF) brings to you Changemakers
Confluence 2K14. This happens to be the organization’s annual Flagship
Event. It will be a 4 day confluence where 450 young Changemakers
from all across India will be selected to discuss, deliberate and seek
solutions to diverse problems and issues that are being faced by our
nation today. And as a part of this whole event, EYF brings to you a
simulation of the India parliament, and hence presenting before you the
Indian Youth Parliament.
The whole idea behind organising a Youth Parliament is to give real-life
stimulation of Parliament to 100-150 delegates from the confluence so
that the Parliament culture evolves and we take deeper interests in the
Democratic institution of the nation.
Also the topics like LGBT and AFSPA are very vital in the next decade
and needs to be interacted in proper forums where experts and
knowledge lovers exchange, deliberate and discuss the pros -cons and
way ahead.
The Youth Parliament today has evolved and students/youth like to be
directly/indirectly associated with it. Through this parliament, the
organization also aims at coming across 50-60 excellent Changemakers
with brilliant oratory/debating skills who can lead various projects of
EYF in the coming time. Also those who wishes to be a part of the fourth
estate of a democracy, they can associate their viewpoints by writing by
being a part of the Press Team.

The organiser: Esteem Youth Foundation
Esteem Youth Foundation is a Global platform for people who dream “BIG”. It is a
humble yet significant effort at stimulating and shaping the youth of India. It is a
steady step towards promoting, and eventually refining the voice of the entire youth,
irrespective of religion, region, gender, caste, creed, race and most importantly
socio-economic status.
EYF is not inclined towards any political ideology. It merely provides a forum where
the common youth can get together and decide for themselves or even synthesize
after deep thought and discussions, their own socio-political ideologies. Our aim is to
provide a platform where the best minds and the most prolific people can showcase
their talent, so as to stimulate their personal and career growth and if possible,
contribute to social growth.
Esteem Youth Foundation operates at three levels -
• Fight illiteracy, poverty, exploitation, discrimination and all other social evils
which hinder socio-psychological development of the future generations, with varying
degrees of priority, depending upon the gravity of the menace, with special emphasis
on the largely unexplored rural regions.
• Provide a forum and a common meeting ground for the youth where they can
express, communicate, talk, deliberate, discuss, debate, and ultimately synthesize or
discover a vision and the best path to it, all the while contributing intensely to their
personal/intellectual growth and civic sense.
• Turn words into action, and organize peaceful, democratic and productive
activities to spread our cause and make ourselves heard by the people of India and
hopefully the administration.
Esteem Youth Foundation is a non-profit, non-political organisation
registered under the Indian Trust Act 1882, having serial no: 4229. Registered in the
office of Sub-Registrar, Govt of Delhi, Mehrauli, dated 23.04.2013.
