THE INSTITUTE HAS PIONEERED THE EVOLUTION OF FASHION BUSINESS EDUCATION ACROSS THE COUNTRY THROUGH ITS NETWORK OF CENTRES AT NEW DELHI, BENGALURU, CHENNAI, GANDHINAGAR, HYDERABAD, KOLKATA, MUMBAI, PATNA, BHOPAL, SHILLONG, KANNUR AND KANGRA.NIFT, BESIDES CONDUCTING REGULAR PROFESSIONAL UNDERGRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES IN DESIGN, MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY, ALSO OFFERS SHORT.

NEED OF THE PROJECT CHANDIGARH DOESNOT HAVE ANY FASHION INSTITUTE OF ITS OWN HENCE IT IS MANDATORY TO DESIGN A INSTITUTE WITH THE URBAN CONTEXT THAT ESTABLISHES A PLATFORM FOR THE STUDENTS WHO WANT TO VENTURE INTO THE FASHION INDUSTRY. ITS HIGH TIME THAT WE CREATE A GLOBAL IDENTITY THROUGH CUTTING EDGE INDIA DESIGNS. THE NIFT DESIGNERS ARE EQUALLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE HANDLOOM WEAVERS, KHADI WEAVERS AND HANDICRAFTS ARTISANS AND ENSURE THAT THE DESIGN INTERVENTIONS HELP THEM TOO.SCOPE ESTABLISHING A BENCHMARK FOR THE QUALITY OF PROFESSIONALS THAT GO INTO THE FASHION INDUSTRY.
