Change Track 201 | Love, Truth, & Grace Welcome! You’re on track to experience life change for a lifetime.
Mark 12:30-31 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all
your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There
is no commandment greater than these.”
1. It is possible to be a good person and live a bad LIFE.
2. I can’t be Christ-like if I don’t know what Christ is LIKE.
3. There are three values that Jesus used to manage relationships:
I. LOVE
II. TRUTH
III. GRACE
4. One of the dominant character traits in Jesus is LOVE. This is the virtue and the value that
Christ said should be most dominant in those who follow him.
John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so
you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you
love one another.”
5. Agape is a Greek word which means an unselfish, unconditional, and unconquerable
benevolence. This is what it means to love like Jesus.
6. Agape is a decision to seek the highest GOOD for others, whether they reciprocate it or
not. This is a love that corrects but doesn’t condemn.
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that
whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his
Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is
not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it
keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It
always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But
where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be
stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
7. Truth was also a virtue that Jesus prioritized in his own life and ministry.

John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his
glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and
truth.
John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to
the Father except through me.
John 8:31-32 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my
teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set
you free.”
8. What is truth? First of all, divine truth is not synonymous with human OPINION. Truth
protects us from the masquerade of pretention.
John 17:17Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
9. The first person Jesus had to be truthful with is HIMSELF. Secondly, he was truthful to God.
Finally, Jesus was truthful with others. In the same way we must be truthful to ourselves,
truthful with our Heavenly Father, and truthful with others.
10. Finally, Jesus managed relationships with GRACE.
God’s
Riches At
Christ’s
Expense
11. When we show grace to others that means we show COMPASSION for people without
condoning the activity.
12. We must also communicate without COMPROMISE. It’s hard to assist people without
engaging people.
13. We must finally challenge others to be better without CONDEMNING them.
14. Grace doesn’t LOWER God’s standard. Grace is a better motivator for people reaching it.

Change Track 202 | Wisdom, Words, & Wealth Welcome! You’re on track to experience life change for a lifetime.
1) Growing in godliness means more than growing in righteousness. It also means growing in
WISDOM.
Luke 2:52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
2) When you grow in wisdom, you also grow in FAVOR.
Wisdom is a pre-requisite for favor.
Matthew 7:24-28 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into
practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams
rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its
foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them
into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the
streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching,
3) Just because it’s not wrong, doesn’t mean it’s WISE. God did not just call us to live right; He’s called us to live well.
4) Jesus used his words differently. Our words are an incredibly powerful WEAPON. The truth
is, words wound people’s soul.
Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will
eat its fruit.
James 3:5-6 Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts.
Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a
world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole
course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
5) Jesus practiced thoughtful COMMUNICATION.
James 1:19 Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to
speak, slow to anger;
www.LifeChange.org 3
6) Use your tongue to speak good and not GOSSIP.
Romans 1:29-30 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed
and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are
gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of
doing evil; they disobey their parents;
7) Gossip is a trust thief. It robs people of the right to be TRUSTED.
God can use people who aren’t perfect. But he can’t use people He doesn’t trust.
8) We should use our words to tell people who they can be, and not just who they WERE.
We should also use our mouths to tell people about God’s future and not just about
their PAST.
9) Jesus wants to show us how to live life the King’s WAY, and this includes our resources
(wealth). God is deeply concerned about everything that impacts us.
10) The morality of money is dependent on whose HANDS it is in, and what you do with it.

Change Track 203 | Wealth and Resources Welcome! You’re on track to experience life change for a lifetime.
Matthew 6:24 - “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the
other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God
and money.
Keys to Kingdom Management
1. Jesus teaches us to view our resources vertically. Why? Because our perception manages
our performance. This means, I must view my resources the same way Jesus views
resources. And for Jesus, money isn’t true RICHES.
Luke 16:11 So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you
with ?
2. When we realize that there are things that matter more than money, we won’t put
MONEY before those things.
3. To view money vertically also means to see money as a resource and not my SOURCE. Money is a tool, but money is not my treasure. When we see God as our source, we won’t
disrespect God for money.
4. We must see ourselves as a steward and not an OWNER of our money. Whatever we
have, God gave it to us.
5. Not only must we manage money vertically, we must also manage money WISELY.
Matthew 25:26-28 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest
where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should
have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have
received it back with interest. “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who
has ten bags.
6. Wise management helps us to experience JOY.
7. Here are 3 practical kingdom keys to Money Management:
i. Establish and live with a budget.
ii. Minimize debt. iii. Save and invest.
true riches

Proverbs 22:7 The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.
Proverbs 6:6-8 Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has
no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and
gathers its food at harvest.
8. Finally, we must give generously. Why? Because we can’t do what everyone else is doing
and expect different RESULTS.
9. Generosity for the believer begins with the GOD FIRST LIFESTYLE.
God First Lifestyle
God should receive the first day of every week.
Sunday is the Lord’s day. It's the day in which we worship him for allowing us to
experience another week. We can't expect him to bless the week if we don't give him
the first. Some people skip worship to have a great Sunday not realizing that it's better
to have half a Sunday and a great week, than to have a whole Sunday and a horrible
week.
God receives the first minutes of every day.
Even if we don't engage in lengthy devotions, the first person we should speak to and engage with when we wake up is God. We can't expect him to bless the day if we
don't give him the first of it.
God should receive the first of all our increase.
Tithing seems to be misunderstood as dues to be paid as opposed to an expression of
God being first. Tithing doesn't mean God is first, God being first means you tithe.
Whenever we experience increase we should ensure that the first goes to God.
The first person you think about when you wake up, the first person you think about
when you receive income, and the first person you give your free time to, is really an
indication of who has first place in your heart. God is emphatically clear! He wants to
be first and when he is, our life is blessed. The God first lifestyle is the Kingdom lifestyle!
10. The word TITHE means tenth. The tithe is the heart test. Tithing is a universal principle that
we see all throughout scripture.
www.LifeChange.org 7
What is the Tithe?
The word tithe means tenth. God desires that the believer set aside the first tenth of his
or her income for Him. Malachi 3:6-12, Leviticus 27:30, Matthew 23:23
The Reasons we Tithe?
We Tithe because it reveals our heart. Matthew 6:19-24
We Tithe because it gives God honor. Proverbs 3:1-2, 9
We Tithe because it gives us help. Malachi 3:12
Where do we Tithe?
You are to tithe at the storehouse or the local church that you are connected to and that feeds you, spiritually,
every week. 1 Corinthians 16:1-2
What is the Offering?
The offering is a gift that is over and above the tithe. The offering is an above and beyond gift (Malachi 3:8).
Genesis 28:19-22 He called that place Bethel though the city used to be called Luz.
Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will watch over me on
this journey I am taking and will give me food to eat and clothes to wear so that I
return safely to my father’s household, then the Lord will be my God and this stone
that I have set up as a pillar will be God’s house, and of all that you give me I will give
you a tenth.”
Hebrews 7:1-3 This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He
met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, and Abraham
gave him a tenth of everything. First, the name Melchizedek means “king of
righteousness”; then also, “king of Salem” means “king of peace.” Without father or
mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, resembling the
Son of God, he remains a priest forever.
Hebrews 7:6-10 This man, however, did not trace his descent from Levi, yet he
collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. And without
doubt the lesser is blessed by the greater. In the one case, the tenth is collected by
people who die; but in the other case, by him who is declared to be living. One might
even say that Levi, who collects the tenth, paid the tenth through Abraham, because
when Melchizedek met Abraham, Levi was still in the body of his ancestor.
Change Track 204 | Submission to The Spirit Welcome! You’re on track to experience life change for a lifetime.
1. Merely obtaining an understanding of one’s purpose is only the first step
toward accomplishing it. We do not pick our purpose. We discover our
purpose. And when our purpose is discovered, we must SUBMIT to it.
2. What is the bridge between calling and completion? It’s a bridge called
SUBMISSION.
3. Just because a biblical word has been abused, doesn’t mean that word
should be AVOIDED. You don’t correct wrong teaching by non-teaching; you
correct wrong teaching by right teaching.
Luke 22:24 "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will,
but yours be done."
4. Jesus submitted to the SPIRIT. And we too, like a submarine under water, must
be submitted to the will of God’s plan for our lives.
5. Submission is not a loss of freedom; it’s protection for freedom. Submission is
not restriction; it’s PROTECTION.
6. Submitting doesn’t mean we can’t think for ourselves. Rather, submission
recognizes and accepts our cognitive limitations. When a person submits to
God, they are saying “God is smarter than ME.”
7. God knows what it really takes to make you HAPPY. But you must be willing to
put your preferences underneath God’s plan.
8. This is what it means to live a Spirit-Filled Life. Jesus was unequivocally the
most human being in history. But his impact was connected to his submission
to the Spirit. Jesus relied on a power beyond his own. He knew his human
capability was limited. He needed the help of the HOLY SPIRIT.
John 8:28 So Jesus said, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then
you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just
what the Father has taught me.
John 16:7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
9. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the TRINITY. It is the presence of
God that takes residence in a believer upon receiving salvation.
The Holy Spirit is the agent that brings about regeneration. It is the
Spirit of Christ.
10. The Holy Spirit enables us to live like JESUS.
Ephesians 5:18 – Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to
debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit,
11. The way wine impacts a person when they are intoxicated, is
the way the Spirit impacts a person when they are filled. Being
filled with the spirit is not about how much of the spirit you have;
it’s about how much of the spirit has you. When this happens,
everything CHANGES.
Acts 6:3 – Brothers and sisters, choose seven men from among you
who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom…
Acts 8:14-17 When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria
had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to
Samaria. When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers
there that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit
had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized
in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their
hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
12. The Spirit of GOD wants to indwell you and fill you. Jesus spent
three years training and mentoring his disciples, and then told
them “even though I’ve been training you for three years, don’t
do ministry until you’ve been baptized with fire (with the Holy
Spirit). Jesus tells his disciples to wait to get power from on High
after the Holy Spirit comes upon them.
13. To live your best life, Jesus said “you must receive the Holy
Spirit.”
John 16:12-13 - 12 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can
now bear. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into
all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears,
and he will tell you what is yet to come.
