Digital Transformation is a new revolutionary way of working and doing business!
3:3 Understanding Digital Transformation is not difficult! It's actually quite simple. A digital business sense and sense of Change & Culture, and perhaps a new "Mindset" We now live in a changing world, and change is the "key word", which means that companies have to put themselves in the driver's seat. Companies must now fully take responsibility for their strategies / Models / Organization / Processes! This may seem obvious, but it is not. ex. Processes, today, vendors describe companies business with flow charts and cryptic documents that nobody understands. Already here companies are wrong today, suppliers are given interpretation, during the implementation, "Change-order" is added, the previous documentation is not updated, despite a variety of customizations added to the system, these can change the business practices and processes. When an upgrade will take place after about 5-10 years, everything will be done again. This static & sequential way of working does NOT work in an extremely moving world, this way of working is from the 70's! In today's digital world, all systems are updated continuously (much like a modern mobile). These updates can continuously affect the company's business model, way of working, organization, etc. Now it's going to be in line or before! This is Nothing you can post to any supplier / system vendor who has your own interest in this! Ex. Implementation of ERP, about 80-85% of the traditional consultancy work disappears. New additions, but not to the same extent and maybe not from the same supplier The ERP completely disappears as a concept in a cloud environment based on 100% cloud technology! Who are actually future providers of Business Application, old ERP?
Business Application contains about 20% of ERP functionality, and is remodeled renewed automated, rest 80%, ERP has never worked with, so question is naturally legitimate?
How to do this then! This, of course, depends on what type of business, how big it is and how far you've come! It is clear, however, that the biggest changes are the biggest companies going through, business, organizational and engineering, many business leaders always think that they can only buy new technology, it does not work really this time! Today's business requirements are not supported by today's business models New technology now offers opportunities that were previously unthinkable The new world opens up new opportunities for brand new business models, which in turn places great demands on how companies work and are organized. Most of your old vendors are missing themselves -Insight -Awareness -Understanding
So they just go on with their old models, and still sell analog technology!
