About UsAbout UsAbout UsAbout Us
Champlain Orchards is located in Shoreham, VT overlooking Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. We are a diversified farm employing over 50 staff members in our busiest season. In addition to our CSA program, we also operate a wholesale delivery route, summer and fall pick-your-own crops, a mail order business, and an on-farm market that is open year-
round.

Community Supported Agriculture?Community Supported Agriculture?Community Supported Agriculture?Community Supported Agriculture?
Community Supported AgricultureCommunity Supported AgricultureCommunity Supported AgricultureCommunity Supported Agriculture, or CSACSACSACSA, is a way
for community members to have a direct relationship
with the people who grow their food. The benefits of
your enrollment in our CSA program are numerous.
With your membership, you are not only supporting
our farm and helping to promote local agriculture,
but you are also making a commitment to eating
healthily and locally. As a member of our CSA, you
are fostering a more direct relationship between
yourself and the people producing your food. We
welcome our CSA members to get involved in the
program. We are always in need of volunteers to
help coordinate drop-sites and advertise our CSA to
new members. If you are interested in getting more
involved, contact us at 802-897-2777 or e-mail
“I’m recommending this CSA to all my friends.
I love the fresh, organic food and the ability to
assist a local farm. With your specialty items
and informative newsletter, you made it fun!”

Our CSA Share is unique in that the total price includes
products other than fresh fruits and vegetables from our farm.
We augment your weekly share with our own farm-produced
value-added items such as cider and apple butter and we also
partner with other regional producers to include in your
shares items such as bread, cheese and eggs.
We encourage you to sign up even if you've missed the
starting date. We will deduct the cost of the week(s) you've
missed.
Our farm participates in the Vermont Farm Share Pro-
gram. This program subsidizes CSA shares for our
neighbors who otherwise could not afford to join our
CSA. Through the program, NOFA-VT will match each
dollar that our CSA raises to offer reduced rates to in-
come eligible individuals and families. Your contribu-
tions are tax-deductible if you make checks payable to
NOFA-VT. Please e-mail
[email protected] if you wish to donate
or want more information on the program. Thank you!
