Harmony is employed with Brady Martz & Associates P.C. in Dickinson, managing their outsourcing department, which handles payroll, payroll tax, data processing, and bookkeep- ing services; and assisting with tax return preparation and financial compilations. She is also a Quickbooks Pro Advisor and provides client software training and assistance. Brady Martz & Associates P.C. is a full-service accounting firm pro- viding audit services, tax preparation and planning, and es- tate and gift planning with offices in Dickinson, Williston, Bismarck, Minot, Grand Forks, and in Thief River Falls, MN. She joined the Chamber Board of Directors in 2008 and is a member of the Ambassador Committee, as well as partici- pates in various task forces. She is also a member of the Southwest Area Human Resource Association. Harmony appreciates all that Dickinson has to offer her and her family her husband, Brad, and twins, Caitlyn and Lane, who are 9 years old. Medcenter One announces leadership changes

Medcenter One recently announced several changes

within its leadership team. Vice presidents Scott Boehm

and Dr. Jan Kamphuis were named executive vice presi-

dents of clinic operations and hospital operations, respec-

tively. Julie Schwab was named corporate compliance

officer, Stephanie Murdock was named clinic administra-

tor and Dr. Kent Martin was named clinic medical direc-

tor.

Boehm has served as Medcen-

ter One’s vice president of human re-

sources since 1994. In addition to di-

recting HR operations for the organi-

zation’s 2,700 employees, Boehm

oversees several Medcenter One de-

partments including construction,

environmental services and employee health. He also

serves on the board for the Bismarck Cancer Center. He

joined Medcenter one in 1981 and advanced to manage-

ment four years later. Boehm has a bachelor’s degree in

social work from the University of Mary, a master’s de-

gree in social work from Saint Louis University in St.

Louis, and a master’s degree in healthcare administration

from St. Joseph’s in Standish, Maine.

As executive vice president of Medcenter One

clinics, Boehm will oversee operations for Medcenter

One’s 17 clinics in Bismarck, Mandan, Jamestown and

Dickinson in addition to his current responsibilities.

Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson

Announces Two New Employees

Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson, a local engineering, surveying,

and planning firm, has hired Ben White and Ben Lujan.

White is an engineer and has a degree in civil engineering

from South Dakota State University. White has over nine

years of engineering experience in land development,

transportation, and construction administration.

Lujan is a CADD technician and has a degree from CAD

Institute. He has four years experience as a CADD techni-

cian.

American Bank Center Add New Employees

American Bank Center announces Shelly Koppinger as a new Loan Documentation Assistant in Dickinson. Shelly is a Dick-inson native and brings with her many years of banking

experience.

American Bank Center is pleased to announce that Brady Boese is our new Personal Banker at the downtown Dickinson location. Brady is a 2010 graduate of Dickinson State University. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Busi-

ness Administration with an emphasis in Management.

American Insurance Center in Dickinson announces the addition of Don Bares as a Commercial Lines Producer. Don comes to American with 20+ years of service in the insurance

industry.

Mess, Murphy, earn Certification

Jennefer Messer and Russell R. Murphy of American

Trust Center were recently awarded the certified retire-

ment services professional designation from the Institute

of Certified Bankers. The ICB is a subsidiary of the

American Bankers Association, in Washington, DC.

Messer joined American Trust Center in 2007 as a trust

administrator and was promoted to a trust officer in the

business’s retirement plan services area in last year.

Her primary responsibilities are in the qualified employee

benefit plan area, working with plan implementation and

administration. She works with employers to build and

maintain client relationships for the retirement plan ser-

vices area.

Murphy joined American Trust Center in 2008. He has

several years of experience working in the small business

arena.

Murphy administers fiduciary accounts, with a focus on

Personal Trust administration, Agency accounts, and

IRA’s, as well as new business development.

The CRSP designation is awarded to individuals who

demonstrate excellence in the field of retirement services.

To qualify for the CRSP designation, individuals must

have certain levels of experience and education in the

retirement services profession, pass an exam and agree to

abide by a code of ethics.

The Airport Promotions Committee reported

that starting 8/17 there will be an overnight air-

craft in Dickinson.

A survey will be conducted to seek out what the

business community needs to make the airport

better.

Flying 4 Food Drive is in the month of July.

People can register to win a trip to Denver.

The next meeting is in August.

The Ag Committee reported that there were just

under 200 people at the 4-H picnic.

The Ag BBQ served about 1130 with 40 volun-

teers. Next year we will be able to host it out-

doors again because the grounds will be com-

plete at the Extension Center.

Livestock show will be 10/23 &24.

Ag Calendar sales are starting to come in from

the bulk mailing.

The Recreational Events Committee has been

getting sponsors for the API Luncheon on 8/20.

The Governmental Affairs next meeting will be

August 19th at 3pm.

The Promotions Committee decorated the parade

float for the Roughrider Days.

4 people rode on the float on 7/3.

The Ambassadors Committee next meeting will

be August 6th.

Ribbon cuttings will be at Rock Star Party Bus,

Serenity , RSVP Local Charm, and Stay Sick.
