Chamber Testimonial“During the process of going through a recent acquisition, I was asked about net-
working and where our new business comes from. The Chamber was my answer. The lifelong business friends and clients that have come as a result of our continuous Chamber membership are too many to count. We have always been involved with the Chamber at some level and have always enjoyed the benefits of being a part of such a vibrant group. Just being associated with this group of like-minded professionals and having the opportunity to feed off their vibe and energy makes my job a little bit easier.” -Mark Kelly, Miller’s Supplies at Work

January 18 | 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. | Bright Box TheaterGuest Speaker: Jeff Nicely | Business Development Specialist, Top of Virginia Regional ChamberTopic: The Art of Networking“You arrive alone. Your heart is beating a little faster than normal and suddenly all of your charisma and charm go out the
window. You try to lock eyes with someone so that you can find a temporary home in what can feel like a sea of strangers. But everyone looks happily engaged in conversation.
While this might sound like your experience at a middle school dance, it’s also what many people feel when they enter a networking event. These are completely natural reactions, even for the biggest extroverts. The great news is that people go to these events to meet strangers, so you’re in the same position as everyone else.”
Join YPG and Jeff Nicely to learn how you can navigate and maximize networking events! New for 2018: All attendees are requested to RSVP for YPG.

Valley Business WomenIn 2018 you will hear from local health and nutritional
experts, a well-known media personality, and a profes-sional stylist to offer you advice and motivation as you strive to put your best foot forward as a professional busi-ness woman!
Be sure to add these dates to your calendars and join us for fun, networking, inspiring and educational speak-ers. We’ll be located at a different and popular local venue each time, and guarantee a scrumptious meal and lively company! Plans are also in the works for an evening social or two. Stay tuned for more information as we finalize planning for the 2018 program year. We look forward to seeing you!

For a business to succeed, the product or service it provides must be known to potential buyers. Our community is always growing, with new customers readily available. You have to use marketing strategies to create product or service aware-ness to reach new community members. Without marketing, your potential customers may never be aware of your busi-ness offerings and your business may not be given the oppor-tunity to progress and succeed.
The Top of Virginia Regional Chamber (TVRC) offers the 2018 Marketing Opportunities and Pricing Package. The TVRC offers a plethora of marketing opportunities perfect for any budget, big or small.
A couple opportunities include: website banner advertising, job posting, hot deals, ads in the monthly newsletter, email blast, sponsorship and more. Contact Emily at [email protected] or 540-662-4118.
