Bunny Money, the Cham-ber’s inhouse shop local program, has a new look! Now printed in color, Bun-ny Money has increased security features and pro-motes the top ten reasons to Buy in the Briar Patch. Participating merchants will receive an informa-tion packet highlighting the changes. Wednesday, Nov. 6: Kinorhook BBQ LLC Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 11 a.m. located at 207 Oak Street in Eatonton. Join us as we celebrate the new location in town with Fred and Barbara Ward. Immediately following the ribbon cutting, the res-taurant will open for business. Everyone is encouraged to stay for lunch and support the restaurant during its grand opening.

This FREE event will include live music by Blind Driver, food by Spillin the Beans, beer and wine provided by Greer Force Marketing and Justin Peacock: Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty, and a fun game of Dirty Santa to give away several great door prizes. On Monday, Oct. 21, the Chamber hosted prolific trav-el writers, Andy Gross and Irv Green, during their tour of the Antebellum Trail. In Eatonton, The Uncle Remus Museum, Historic District, The Plaza Arts Center, Alice Walker Driving Trail, South-

ern Manor Farms and Rock Eagle were highlighted with a visit. Andy and Irv write freelance stories and produce a syndicated column called “Traveltizers” that appears in more than 50 lifestyle magazines, mostly senior publications including AAA Home and Away.

Coffee Connections was held on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Central Georgia Technical College. Putnam Campus Director Carrie Dietrich informed the attendees about the school’s three areas of focus which include col-lege credits, adult education and economic development programs. At-tendees were then given a tour of the campus to see the distance learn-ing technology and classrooms set up for welding, health care courses, adult education and testing.
