The graph shows the gap between Western and Eastern European countries . The Western Europe is characterized of high levels of productivity, while in the East these levels are compensating with low costs of labour force.

Eastern Europe is dominated

- Economy based on imitation- Low operational costs that can attract foreign investors- Excellence in exports (even during the financial crisis - Hungary, Slovakia were able to increase their export rate)- EE fulfills the basic requirements such as health an primary education - High share of people working in agriculture (Poland, Serbia, Romania,Bulgaria) but also in industry (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Russia)
