According State Statistical Office of the Republic of Macedonia 55,9% from the young people aged 15-29 are unemployed, placing the country on the top of the list of countries where this problems occurs. There are numerous data regarding the age, gender, place of residence and education of these people, but data for their perceptions and attitudes is lacking. That’s why:

We conducted a quantitative online survey on a representative sample of 350 young unemployed people in the period from 20.01-01.02.2013. Relevant demographics:

Two-thirds of respondents, or 63.2% have 0 days of experience, i.e. have not found work after graduation. The Internet on a daily basis in the last month was used by two thirds or 63.2% of young unemployed people in the country. 10% of respondents never used the Internet during this period. E-mail address possesses 81.4% of the unemployed aged 18 to 30 years, while 18.6% do not.

According site www.najdirabota.com.mk in over 80% of job adds in Skopje a working knowledge of computer and English is required. 36.5% of young unemployed people in the country said they had an excellent and very well knowledge of the English language, and the same percentage their knowledge assessed as bad and very bad. 26.8% of respondents said they have a good knowledge of English. Regarding computer skills we have more positive results. Every second respondent, or 50.6% its ability to work with computer evaluated as excellent and very good, 33.8% as good and only 15.6 percent considered to have bad knowledge of working with computers.

Two-thirds or 66.2% of young people who are looking for work today think that today one can become rich only by not obeying the law,

Simultaneously, the same percentage, or 65.8% agree that with hard work anyone can succeed in Macedonia, which means that the actual values are not yet fully lost. This information supplemented by high 64.7% of young people who see with optimism to the future creates an opportunity for positive change,

However, 35.7 of these young people feel excluded from society. Poverty and hopelessness break down their social relations, and the activities of NGOs, as we shall see later, that need to mobilize this people, seems completely absent.

Have you done any of the following in the last month?Do you agree with the following statements?

*SAE – State Agency for Employment

Page 5: [Challenge:Future] Pakomak14: B2U (Business to Unemployed young people)

• High 83.6% think that the state should provide jobs for all and this clearly shows the lack of knowledge among young people about the basic principles of the market economy and the importance of entrepreneurial activity and the market as a mechanism. Can ‘t be expected new companies, innovations and inventions in a country where there is such a large percentage of young people who think and wait for the state to hire all citizens.

• Faced with the importance of the party's booklet and friendly and kinship with so little opportunities for employment, 60.6% of young unemployed people think to look for work abroad. One reason for this is certainly the useless to seek work in Macedonia, which as a state is confirmed by 43.1% of young unemployed.

• The labor market in the country is getting worse everyday. This is presented by the percentage of only 15.6% of young unemployed people who consider that employment conditions today are better than two years ago.

• And now? Who is responsible for the hopeless situation in which many young unemployed people are found, according to their opinion?

• Macedonian Youth blames all the factors for their own unemployment much more than themselves personally. Thus, political parties in Macedonia, the Government and the opposition, and even the financial crisis in the world are considered to be the main culprits for their unemployment, while themselves are not blaming at all. It is simply amazing how low is the level of awareness among young people about personal responsibility when much higher percentage of them 20,8% accuse the former SFRY system for their own unemployment, when most of them were not even born; than themselves personally, 9.7%.

Capacity building for free advising, assistance and guidance of young unemployed. The largest percentage of these people are depressed, disappointed by the numerous rejection in process of applying for a job and are in need of re-building their own confidence. We need to show them how valuable their talents are that they should not give up! They must understand their sole responsibility for their own future and the need to get the best out of every situation! Permanent ANALYSIS OF ALL POSSIBILITIES and reduce the aversion to risk-taking!

Continuous monitoring of labor market demand in the country which will serve as a guidance for the future supply. Modifying the existing supply in accordance with the current demand!

Spreading friendship and empathy! MAKING TEAMS from the young unemployed, who will join according to their affinity and qualifications to satisfy the current needs of the companies. This way they will receive an initial experience, will further develop their skills, will earn money and most of all will get the motivation for pursuing their dreams and launching a company.

Developing a WEB SITE that integrates companies and these people is an excellent solution. Companies and UY will have profiles. UY can find suitable/interesting freelance jobs and companies will quickly find a professional or team of professionals to work on freelance projects.

Moreover, the platform will be capable of automatic matching between both sides.
