MEMBER-TO-MEMBER TESTIMONIALSSubmitted by Stephanie Winstead of Winstead Law Group

Mark Montgomery, Montgomery Photography is a talented professional photographer. My family and I have used him for personal and professional photos and we're never disappointed by the quality of his work. This past November we had family photos taken by someone else and we were disappointed. Lesson learned. We are staying with Mark!

March is full of days to celebrate. From Son’s & Daughters day on the 7th, Mardi Gras on the 8th, to St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th… just to name a few of the obvious. But did you know that the first week of March is National Write a Letter of Appreciation Week?

The first thing I think of is writing a letter to the countless people that I truly appreciate in my life. However, I think that to appreciate ourselves first is okay. Matter-of-fact, it's a necessity to give yourself a pat on the back once in a while! So write an appreciation letter to yourself this month! Doing so is a great way to nurture your confidence.

Celebrate your successes! Did you finish a large project, help a neighbor or a stranger or did you improve a process to save you or your company money? Write down your accomplishments so you can see the tangible evidence.

What are your strengths? Creating a list of the things that you do well helps to keep you focused. Ask for help from those that know you.

Don't forget you are worth the effort! We all doubt ourselves sometimes, and we can fail, too. Pay attention to the negative messages you send yourself and recognize if any are holding you back. Then reframe it into a positive affirmation.

Challenge yourself and write a letter of appreciation to YOU!

MOULTON NIGUEL WATER DISTRICT ELECTS 2017 BOARD OFFICERS

Donald L. Froelich re-named President; Scott F. Colton and Brian S. Probolsky continue their positions as District Vice Presidents

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. – Jan. 20, 2017 – At the Moulton Niguel Water District (MNWD) Board of Directors meeting in January, the MNWD Board re-elected Division 3 Director Donald L. Froelich as its Board President, and re-elected Scott F. Colton, Division 2, and Brian S. Probolsky, Division 5, as its Vice Presidents. The new leadership comes on the heels of affirming oaths for four MNWD Board Members in December 2016. Directors Richard S. Fiore, Division 1, Brian S. Probolsky, Division 5, Duane D. Cave, Division 6, and Gary R. Kurtz, Division 7, retained their seats on the board and have begun to serve their term.

MNWD’s seven-member Board of Directors are publicly elected by registered voters within the MNWD service area and serve for staggered four-year terms. They are responsible for setting policies to ensure the District provides a safe and reliable supply of water to its communities.

“I’m honored to serve once again as the District’s Board President,” said Director Froelich, who served as President for the past two years, and begins his new two-year term. “As water challenges continue in Southern California, we must find new, innovative ways to provide water reliability for our customers. I look forward to working with our communities and all our stakeholders to uphold this commitment.”

Understanding that drought-like conditions are the “new normal” for California, the MNWD Board of Directors remain committed to ensuring water reliability for its customers today and for generations to come. This encompasses a variety of initiatives including making water conservation a California way of life by providing water efficiency programs and resources, continuing to be engaged with its communities, investing in local and regional water supply projects, expanding MNWD’s water recycling program, and maximizing MNWD’s ability to manage water demands to prepare for future dry periods and water challenges.

For more information about MNWD and its Board of Directors, visit www.mnwd.com.

After years of supervising large counseling and addiction programs, Randy Moraitis noticed a disturbing trend—many individuals seeking treatment for mental health or substance use issues lacked resources to pay for treatment, and they often slipped through the cracks of society.Randy, a Board-Certified Counselor, Life Coach and Certified Interventionist with a practice in Laguna Niguel, decided to launch the nonprofit foundation CarePossible to make mental health and addiction care possible for veterans and low income families. CarePossible also provides community education and awareness about mental health, addiction, and veteran’s issues. USC named CarePossible “Best of Mental Health on Twitter” for spreading awareness and education! To date, CarePossible has provided mental health and addiction care and awareness to thousands of Orange County residents and has raised over $500,000 to provide care and treatment to veterans thanks to generous donors.
