You are Invited to
Gentle, Easy, Safe Chair Yoga
Enjoy a yoga practice not limited by pain or past injury
by participating in chair yoga. Expect these benefits:
Learn exercisesand breathing techniques that may offset pain, improve
mobility and strength
Stretch out and detox to feel more alive and energetic
De-stressand give yourself a peaceful break from your day
Gain a healthybody-mind-spirit balance
Yoga is scientifically proven to improve arthritis, back pain, blood
pressure, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and bone density
Everyone is welcome– No need to be fit, flexible, or have prior yoga
experience.You will not need to be able to get up and down from the floor.You can
sit through the entire practice, or use your chair as support for any standing or
balancing postures.You will be mindfully moving your spine and working with
deepbreathing. You should notexpect to sweat or hurt!

Teacher:Julie FraserCertified yoga teacher, compassionatebody-mind-spirit guide, graduate of Kind Yoga School yoga teacher training.Experience with injuries and recovery through physical therapy, and dedicated to playfulness and peace.
Fee:First class is free – regularly $5 for PTS patients, $10 for others

No experience, fitness level, flexibility or props required.
Please wear comfortable clothes. Top should be non-binding yet form-fitting to allow stretching without revealing more than you want. Pants
should allow deep stretching.
