Location

This port city is located in the east coast of Sri Lanka, the city is situated 257 Km away from

Colombo and it is surrounded by lagoons, hills and bays. Trincomalee, Sri Lanka is the fifth

largest natural harbour in the world and the city gains prominence as a town built on a peninsula.

The long wide beaches that spread across the area offer its visitors white sandy beaches and calm

anglicized Tamil word 'Trincomalee' denotes the meaning lord of the sacred hill.
