Why CGFoodFest?
• The Kingdom of Dreams team wanted to spread a positive word of mouth about Culture Gully as a destination for Foodies.
• Since the conversation had to be organic, a bloggers outreach was chosen as a route to generate positive conversations about Culture Gully.
How & When ?
• The bloggers meet was conceptualized by Iffort as a Food tasting session with a bunch of fun activities which would help them experience Culture Gully as well.
• The targeted bloggers and influencers for the meet were Foodies and Photographers from Delhi-NCR.
• The Bloggers were chosen based on their Social Media Reach (Blog, Facebook and Twitter presence.)
• Culture Gully Food Fest was organized on 23rd March 2013.

given to bloggers during

On Event Day
Event Flow
Introduction
•Each blogger introduced himself with his name and the name of his favourite food. Ex : Varun Pizza
•The participants were divided into teams of two.
Food Connect
•The teams then competed in a Picture Connect Quiz where they guessed the food and the respective pavilion.
Menu Maker
•Each team was allotted a Menu Maker Sheet and a virtual budget of Rs 1000.
•Each team had to fit in the maximum number of dishes by visiting the various counters and they got extra points for tweeting while filling the menu.
On Event Day
• Bloggers were welcomed with a Teeka at the podium and they proceeded to the IIFA Buzz Lounge.
• A lot of conversations started even before the event started around the event hashtag #CGFoodFest.

Ice Breaking Session
• To get the bloggers into the groove, a fun introduction game was played.
• Each blogger told his name followed by the name of his favourite dish and the names of the preceding participants and their favourite dishes.
• This activity was received well and helped them to gel better.
Food Connect
• The first set of activities were at the IIFA Buzz lounge.
• Here we divided all bloggers into teams of two.
• Each team was asked a question and they had to guess the food & the state.
• The bloggers enjoyed this round as well and generated a lot of conversations online on Twitter and Facebook using #CGFoodFest.

Answer : Sabudana Vadaa – this dish is a Maharashtra special & belongs to the Mumbai stall at Culture Gully.
Menu Maker
• This activity was conducted at the CG boulevard.
• Each team was allotted a menu and a budget of Rs 1000.
• The game needed them to create a menu with the most diverse dishes from the pavilion menus.
• The teams were allotted points on the basis of the number of dishes and the tweets they made during the activity.

• 35,000 Impressions were generated on twitter for the hashtag #CGFoodFest.
