What is CFCC?

Formed in 1998, CFCC comprises six funding agencies: four state and two federal. CFCC members facilitate and expedite the completion of various types of infrastructure projects by helping customers combine the resources of several agencies. Project information is shared between members to identify additional resources. CFCC members conduct free funding fairs statewide each year to educate the public and potential customers about the financial and technical resources available from different member agencies.

Seeking Funding for Your Infrastructure Project?California Financing Coordinating Committee (CFCC) combines the resources of State and Federal agencies to provide one-stop financing for infrastructure projects.

Purpose of the Funding FairsCFCC funding fairs are free and provide members of the public and infrastructure development professionals with up-to-date information on current funding for different types of projects. Depending on the program, project funding from CFCC agencies can be in the form of grants or loans. Interested parties attending a funding fair are provided with a CFCC handbook and informational handouts describing financial and technical assistance resources currently available. The handbook provides staff contact information, a project matrix that shows funding sources by project type, and copies of all the PowerPoint presentations given by members. Attendees of the funding fair will be able to network with project development as well as CFCC professional staff.

Who Should AttendRepresentatives from public works, local governments, California Native American Tribes, city managers and planners, economic development and engineering professionals, officials from privately owned facilities, water and irrigation district managers, financial advisors, and project consultants.

CFCC agencies fund the following types of eligible infrastructure projects:

Some of the participating agencies also fund other types of infrastructure projects including streets and highways, emergency response vehicles, and community facilities.
