CERTIFIED BUSINESS PLANNING PROFESSIONAL

The CBPP Certification is a professional qualification that recognizes the knowledge and skills of those who

are involved in business planning, business analysis, business planning, budgeting and senior

management. The practical yet powerful concepts taught will enable the successful candidates to function

in senior management or in Business level positions or business planning positions or to excel in running a

business of their own.

The certification is divided into two part namely the Screening Part and the Study Part which cumulates in a

written exam and a project paper.

Candidate Screening

Before each candidate is accepted into the

education part of the certification process,

they will have to submit a comprehensive

resume with at least two referees whom

they have worked with before.

Appointed Examiners will examine each

candidate’s resume and may call up the

referees for further information

Candidates will then attend an interview

with the Certification Director who will

assess if the candidate can complete the

certification or not. Not compulsory if

information submitted is clear and

Once the Candidates successfully pass the screening they will be given an invitation to join the

Certification program which includes 4 knowledge areas as follows

Analysis of Financial Statements

Strategic Thinking

Strategic Planning

Budgeting

Mode of study – Candidates can choose to study on their own or attend coaching sessions

organized by DRC Services (optional fees apply).

Notes will be provided for learning purpose and students are free to chose any books they like

Assessment will consist of 4 written essays of 2000-3500 words each and a project paper.

Candidates will be assigned a mentor who will be able to guide them via email.
